In the land of body horror and awesomely gruesome movies, are there any new ones out there ? I've seen some old ones and they were amazing scary and grotesque in their ways.

Again, most people remember Alien chest busters, the thing and a few more like these, but I think nothing comes close to what these were. (Yes I've seen a few Japanese horror movies as well, traumatising to see those ones.)

not new but you may not be familier with "laid to rest" from 2009 and "chromeskull: laid to rest 2" from 2011 - fairly gruesome slasher movies. the sad thing is , a third one was going to happen but the director actually died.

That's sad indeed. Besides that, I feel as though this type of genre doesn't have enough surge as it used to.
