l just want to know how to update duckstation in Linux Mint
And which one do I need to download? You will have to get it from the GitHub
Duckstation GH
Did you use a Appimg or Flatpak to install it the first time? And which one do I need to download?
Well, I'm downloaded the software managerDid you use a Appimg or Flatpak to install it the first time?
which oneJust get the AppImage, it'll reinstall it with the latest updates.
(It's stupid you can't just update it through the terminal)
Then right click it, go to permissions and tick the little box that says "Allow executing file as program" Then run it and follow the instructions.
Okay, so you have a flatpak version. I would just type "flatpak update" into the terminal, that should do it? But linux mint update manager or whatever should be able to do that for you, you shouldn't need to manually dl something. I don't know mint that well though, but from googling looks like it recently allowed flatpak updates via the manager, so I would try to find that option first.
Yeah, but when I click and download it bring me to GitHubIt's a lot easier using the Linux Mint software manager then update within the app
Latest nightly preview as of now.

From the screenshot it looks like you already have it installed. Click launch.
Yea, that's what is looks like mint should do, it should update flatpaks along with any system update?I downloaded mine from flathub and it updates itself with system updates.
no, it doesn't updatedFrom the screenshot it looks like you already have it installed. Click launch.

The build in the chaotic-aur on Garuda linux works perfect, no flatpak needed, just saying... I'm a garuda linux dickrider thoughIt would help so much if Duckstation didn't have that crappy restrictive license...![]()
