Anime Does anyone have recommendations for relaxing anime?

Secret Base, my favorite "Sad confort" anime, its ED has made this 28 behemoth cry, especially in the finale

Hello Kitty's World is a nice preschool anime, but a conforting one, i use to pop some chapters when feeling down

Azumanga Daioh maybe more chaotic than the usual "Relaxing" genre, but i like to see the show for hacing a zany but healthy group of students

No mention of Natsume's Book of Friends?
While you'd think an anime about yokai would be stress inducing it is rather quiet and laid back...99% of the time.
Minor tension sometimes but nothing that derails the peaceful focus of the show.

well that really depends on what counts as relaxing ... i think it really matters. what is relaxing to you? cgdct? romance? whatever else?
natsume's book of friends is a good recommendation actually ! although i found it a bit tedious and sometimes a bit boring it is quite relaxing !
as for me, i think 'relaxing' goes hand in hand with 'engaging , but without any tension/drama'.

konosuba, if you can handle some blatant fan service + the isekai tropes, is quite engaging in a relaxing way. its lighthearted and actually immerses you. i felt connected to the characters after three seasons, its not tense in any way, just random stuff going on, no heavy romance or anything like that.

acchi kocchi is a nice cgdct with light romance. it is very similar to the azumanga daioh/lucky star genre but much, much calmer. it feels very much meditative in a way.

my favorite when it comes to the genre of 'relaxing' anime is mushishi. it doesnt get talked about often but it is a very, very nice anime. it is especially engaging if you like nature-related stuff. it has, in my opinion, quite beautiful visuals as well as engaging story.

i think theres much more but these are my favorites, although if im being honest konosuba is a bit annoying ! but its still nice .

I'll offer my personal take even tho this is absolutely NOT what people expect when they think relaxing anime. The show is called Fuusen Shoujo Temple-chan but in LATAM we knew it by the name of ''Sabrina and her friends'' so if you don't mind Enlgish subtitles or just happen to speak French, Italian or Spanish this one I recomend.

There is onw airing right now called Maid wa Taberu and its pretty cute and sweet slice of life about a maid experimenting food on Japan... Just try to not watch while hungry lol

Either of these two.

Nothing substantial happens in either of them. They both have a cozy atmosphere, artstyle and soundtrack: all of it, in addition to the calmer pace (in comparison to other Slice of Life), and total lack of an overarching plot make these two my go-to when I want to watch anime just to relax.
