Anyway, i'm thinking about writing a poem using the ruleset of my native language's poetry!

Not a poet person but I did watch the Chinese animated film, 30,000 Miles to Chang'an, recently and that features 48 Chinese poems. Some by the main characters Gao Shi and Li Bai.

It seems very difficult to do. Li Bai had to be well drunk to get poem-ey.

I have never felt any level of fulfillment from reading poetry, so writing it feels fake. for me anyway. short stories, I have all day every day. extensive logbooks full of useless lore, I got u. but self expression for me is better served via an extensive critique fueled rant, than a few artistic bars
