This "some anime fans" guy has a fried brain
I think they also might have subbed anime on as well when they do this. They may also not have subtitles on when they watch in 2x speed and I wonder if anyone that replied to this has been surprised that some "anime fans" do watch anime in 2x speed.I imagine people doing this must be watching dubs (I use the term “watching” liberally, they’ve likely got it on in the background while they look at their phones), because doing this with subtitled shows sounds effing impossible. I had enough trouble reading what the guy was saying in The Tatami Galaxy on normal speed, thank you very much!
I agree. Those people might have a few thousand anime on their watchlist in a sort amount of time due to that, though it's a guess. This is abnormal behavior enabled only by some bizarre desire to fill out anime watchlists.
I'd also say by watching on 2x speed those people are going to be missing out on what's going on in each anime episode, of course making them give the anime a low score because of that.Depending on whether the show's good or bad it's either insanely disrespectful to the show (for refusing to watch it on its terms), or to the viewer themselves (no matter how quick you may be, you're still wasting time on trash anime).
I mainly made this forum since I've seen other people on other sites mention that they do watch anime episodes on 2x speed, due to the plot being "boring" or the pacing being "too slow", which isn't even watching it, so I don't know how they'd ever consider them to be an actual anime fan that way. I didn't know people even "watch" anime in 2x speed, (I bet if there was a way to watch in a higher speed that they would).i read the thread title i was like
then i read the posts i was like wait wth they're serious
Sometimes to me the anime episodes seem too short and over fast, (even though it's a 23-24 minute episode) and some seem to last longer; there's a lot of good artwork in the many anime that has came out over the years. Could that be because maybe a lot of things happen, not much happens in the episodes or possibly that you're really into the episode so the time goes by quickly?I Never even thought about watching Anime at 2X or more, why? what's the point? i Enjoy the Artwork. and Most anime i watch seems like it's over to soon as it is
I'm mostly a dub watcher, since that's how I first watched anime. As for anime that isn't dubbed, I've gotten use to looking at the anime, then the subtitles and back to the episode to see what's going on. You could say I just read the subtitles as one big chunk or something like that and then I look at what's going on on screen. It's ok to prefer dubs over subs, but it's each person's own preference.I Rather watch Dub's, yes i know Blasphemy, but, in the Last 10 year's or so, Reading the Sub's with the Movement in the background, Gives me a Massive Migraines, Dunno why. just Does.
Those people in that age group may not have a good attention span, it's hard to say since I can't speak for them. Most 15-25 year olds Anymore have no Attention span i have noticed.
Then again, maybe I'm just Old XD
fvck that hahahahahaI've seen that some "anime fans" on sites say that they've watched anime episodes on 2x speed due to the "pacing being slow". Do you or have you ever watched any anime episodes in 2x speed?
I haven't as I don't see a reason to fast forward an anime episode, since I'd be missing out on what's even going on.
I know, normal speed when watching anime, none of this 2x speed BS.fvck that hahahahaha
It is a bit weird for me too. It's weird to me that people would watch at 2x speed though.
