Well here is the question when you buy a used copy of a game and those can get quite expensive nowadays sadly for Retro Games if you need to have the Manual of the game that was with the game or if you just need the game.

So how strict are you when you buy a used game do you pay the extra amount of money to have the Manual and the Game or rather save a few bucks and only have the game ?

For me it depends if its only a few more bucks 2 to 5€ than I get the one with the Manual just for it to feel complete and I also like Manuals but if is 10 to 20€ just to have the Manual than no I just take the Box and the Game.

Loose Cd's are a no go for me I would need to be really desperate for a Game to consider this and even then it needs to be below 10€ this is none negotiable for me for a loose Cd.

I don't really care about the manual because you can always look up a guide online. But those manuals can really raise the value or price of those used games. There's even a time that a manual was sold separately for a hefty price.

Of course, at Gamestop when I was buying used games for my psp collection I was more than happy when I could find them whole; if not, they were cheap so I looked for them somewhere else.

Right now, I have the Vita and 3ds modded so I got rid of my physical collection (to free some space and get back some money, though I regret it a bit), so hopefully I'm not going to buy games with the manual anymore (only Switch games, but those don't come with anything inside, sadly).

prefer if its with the manual - i feel like i am paying for half a product if not , unless i am desperate i will not buy it.
