I've been a fan of paranormal things since I was a child, but I never believed in these things.
What things have you seen and heard for paranormal stuff?Seen and heard things as well.
I used to read a lot of things pertaining to the paranormal as well in my teens. And what I learned ultimately is to leave the negatively aligned paranormal stuff alone. Once you get involved, they have a possibility of coming back to your life even if the stuff subsides. Which is why I would never get myself involved with spirit questing, ouija boards or anything that could potentially attract unwanted attention.
Yeah, that's about how I'd put it for myself.Paranormal things are cool but I don't necessarily believe them no
Sounds creepy.I've had some awful lucid dream or dream-like states like that. I was even murdered in one of them. The houses around here are mostly over 100 years old. So they are bound to have histories that aren't so nice. It's always possible that it's a shadow of a past event. I actually don't like to sleep without a cat in my room. I believe cats can protect you from negative spirits. After some experiences in this attic I can't sleep without at least one of my cats up here. This house doesn't scare me. But sometimes it just feels weird. When your whole neighborhood is just ancient it's gonna be weird like that sometimes. I thought in passing to ask the people in the unit downstairs if they ever felt or saw anything. But I dress kind of alt and I don't want them to think I'm crazy.
I've lived in two houses where a suicide took place right before I moved in. One was really freaky. In the other I didn't experience anything. But my niece did. In another house the dogs would not go into the basement. They would freak out so bad. There was a big wooden board on the wall and when I pushed it back there was a big hole carved out inside with a chair in it. I hope it was just kids playing around and not something sinister.
Something interesting: My aunt said she saw the ghost of my grandmother twice in my grandparents' house asking her to take care of my uncle. She said the dog also saw her and that she was in a blue dress. My grandmother insisted on being buried in a blue dress. Now I lived in that house for awhile until it was sold and never saw her. But my neighbors did. We had a lot of records and we told these neighbors if they wanted them they could come in and get them. The husband ran out of the house screaming about the "Old white lady" and saying he'd never go back into that house again. Another neighbor who went in there to take some clothes said the house was haunted and full of bad spirits. And he had been in that house many times before without seeing anything up until that point.
I think that it's possible that after the tug of war over the house was over and the wrong person won and decided to sell it, my grandparents were very unhappy that the house they bought in 1954 was now gone and there was some flash of activity to show their feelings. And they weren't good feelings. No one was happy about what happened and the person that got the house is not well liked and no one in the family talks to him. Those feelings may have been made clear to the other side.
