Do you like the paranormal?

I've been attacked before on several occasions so it would be dishonest so say I don't believe. I just don't really care to get into the whole idea as a personality or a hobby. I like cryptids even if most of them are scams but like them as mascots or personal folklore or fiction as European historical ones tend to dominate the scene.

I don't believe in the paranormal, but i find it very interesting and cool, like those mysteries that no one can explain it just happened.

5 & 6, I'm stuck & tunnel very perplexing
Sounds like the ghost might be trying to move to the light but ended up stuck in the tunnel for whatever reason, assuming their spirit box actually works and isn't just an RNG that displays random shit to amuse tourists. I dunno, personally I hope in my afterlife I finally get to cease to exist instead of becoming a ghost (that would be boring AF), being reincarnated again, put in a heaven where everything is so perfect I eventually get bored and ask for the previous option or even worse, get tortured in some hell for however long because my empathy burned out or something. It also may have called @Cardboardtubeknight a hag, which is slightly disconcerting.

I was actually hanging out with an older lady friend when we did this.

Ohhh... that makes sense. For some reason I feel like the ghost delivered the line like Simon Pegg in Hot Fuzz.

There were other things too, but I no longer have them since it was the lady friends spirit box. At one point it said "purple shirt" which I was wearing that night then it said "down" "game" which we interpreted as the device so we put it down, then it said "heaven" "where" which we answered with a not sure which gave us a "useless" the sass I swear.

I’ll start by saying that I don’t believe in paranormal phenomena or anything like that, but I still find the debates around them really interesting. Several years ago, while I was out running in the countryside, my attention was caught by a black cat with no collar or tag, who seemed to be in serious distress: his little face had several scratches, probably from a dog bite. He looked dehydrated and completely lost, and he kept trying to find shelter in my shadow (I remember it was a really hot summer afternoon).
I was several kilometers away from my car, and taking the kitten with me was impossible. So I decided to call the local stray animal rescue service. The guy arrived shortly after, and while I waited, I took a few pictures of the kitten to document the encounter and possibly alert someone in the area.
One of those photos has always haunted me… When I looked at it closely, I noticed a disturbing detail: the cat was facing to my left, yet in the photo I took, you can clearly see what looks like an evil-looking face with a strange tongue. Honestly, I have no memory of the kitten moving his head (which was my first thought), and yet this shot makes me uneasy every time I look at it (though, to be fair, I rarely do — I just retrieved it from my photo archive).

I love mythology, ghosts, cryptids, vampires, movie monsters, etc; anything spooky.
I don't believe any of if it is real, but I consume a ton of videogames, movies, anime, etc that have it.

And this is good. There are always rational explanations for these and I still like seeing those in fiction.

I don't think about it often and don't believe in it at all.

Yeah, I feel draw to it.

I also lived on a haunted house for like 7 years. Maybe it just stuck with me.

It's a mixed bag for me. I like it at times, and at times I just hate it because of how clearly fake it is (I am looking at you "exploring a haunted x place"). But here is the thing, I don't really believe in spirits or ghosts in the traditional sense; where they are the souls of the damned living in x place because of some misfortune or something, but rather I believe in that there are other beings that can be good or bad or neutral. Like us, but different and unseen by us. The problem is, is that like 99% of horror stories or scary paranormal stories are just fake (imo) because I believe that those "otherworldly" beings don't/can't really affect us as we believe they can.

Also, one last thing, one should keep in mind that the most scary, most horrific, depraved, despair-inducing thing is and will always be brought not from some magical spirit, demon, ghost or being but rather us. We humans. Time and time again, the thing that has scared me the most is listening to or watching videos about real-life stories of a person doing x thing to someone else. Humans are the scariest, because we have the free will to do what we please, and many a time we are far more unhinged and insane than anything we can conjure up.

We humans
Humanity is complex, that’s for sure, but lumping us all together seems a bit much to me. We shouldn't take the blame for other people’s actions if, on our part, we’re aware of our own limits, our weaknesses, and our past mistakes with the goal of improving ourselves—and at the same time, trying to offer something to others without expecting anything in return.

Of course, I was just generalising that often times it's not some demon or something that can do the worst of crimes. I am not saying every human is that bad, just that humans can be both a double sided coin of good and bad but also neither good nor bad. We aren't stationary.

Paranormal stuff may Exist but who knows and I find it quite Intriguing.Lets just say I rather would not dare to settle down in a House that is rumored to be hunted, but yet those things always quite Intrigued me.

i dont believe in ghosts but i find the concept super cool

I believe that the world is not as it seems. As to what all of this really is, I have no clue. I guess we'll understand more when we leave this world. I do think that we are all eternal and are all one. We just have a lot of trouble grasping this while we inhabit the material plane. There's so many people distracted by hate and greed. We are on the wrong path right now. We aren't supposed to be living this way.

I didn't really mention whether I like or believe in the paranormal so:

I do like the paranormal I don't believe in the paranormal, as I haven't really had anything spooky ever happen to me in real life, other then one night a few years ago something said my name next to my right ear before I fell asleep, though I didn't open my eyes to find out what said it, that and also towards the end of 2012 it felt like something was walking on my heels; there's some of the stuff is pretty damn creepy to me, once you read about certain folklore, cryptids and the such.

Actually, I should include a couple of other things, though not seen by me, but my parents: my dad said that he say some angel with blond hair in our house in the early 2000's and she just smiled at him and then several years later my mom said that she thought she saw the outline or something of a demon next to a tree in our backyard.

I've had some awful lucid dream or dream-like states like that. I was even murdered in one of them. The houses around here are mostly over 100 years old. So they are bound to have histories that aren't so nice. It's always possible that it's a shadow of a past event. I actually don't like to sleep without a cat in my room. I believe cats can protect you from negative spirits. After some experiences in this attic I can't sleep without at least one of my cats up here. This house doesn't scare me. But sometimes it just feels weird. When your whole neighborhood is just ancient it's gonna be weird like that sometimes. I thought in passing to ask the people in the unit downstairs if they ever felt or saw anything. But I dress kind of alt and I don't want them to think I'm crazy. :loldog

I've lived in two houses where a suicide took place right before I moved in. One was really freaky. In the other I didn't experience anything. But my niece did. In another house the dogs would not go into the basement. They would freak out so bad. There was a big wooden board on the wall and when I pushed it back there was a big hole carved out inside with a chair in it. I hope it was just kids playing around and not something sinister.

Something interesting: My aunt said she saw the ghost of my grandmother twice in my grandparents' house asking her to take care of my uncle. She said the dog also saw her and that she was in a blue dress. My grandmother insisted on being buried in a blue dress. Now I lived in that house for awhile until it was sold and never saw her. But my neighbors did. We had a lot of records and we told these neighbors if they wanted them they could come in and get them. The husband ran out of the house screaming about the "Old white lady" and saying he'd never go back into that house again. Another neighbor who went in there to take some clothes said the house was haunted and full of bad spirits. And he had been in that house many times before without seeing anything up until that point.

I think that it's possible that after the tug of war over the house was over and the wrong person won and decided to sell it, my grandparents were very unhappy that the house they bought in 1954 was now gone and there was some flash of activity to show their feelings. And they weren't good feelings. No one was happy about what happened and the person that got the house is not well liked and no one in the family talks to him. Those feelings may have been made clear to the other side.

We have full computers in our pockets that can communicate with anyone around the world instantly. We have gaming devices that can hold thousands of games at once from across gaming history. A full library of books, music, and movies can be digitized and pocketed. And we can flash freeze fish so they can be eaten raw without dying. We don't have magic, but I'd say we're close enough.

Technology is moving forward at a rapid pace. We may some day reach a point where it seems exactly like magic to us. Techno magic. Just think of how the modern world would seem to people who lived in medieval times.
