It's definitely fine, Manhwa's Long Strip Format is annoying for me but the story itself is fine.
As a Story the reason why it become as popular as it is is probably because it IS a Pioneer in terms of the Story when it first came out, nowadays you probably won't think of it as Special because the over-saturation.
Even as a Pioneer the quality hold-up pretty well to be honest, it basically like SAO if you watch it when it first released, but unlike SAO which fine at the beginning, then take a deep plunge to the abyss of Tartaros at the middle, then try it best to crawl out trying to reach Nirvana with Alicization and Orbital, Solo Leveling is like flat 80 all the way through.
So do i like it?
Eh i feel indifferent towards it, not because it's bad, it just is.
It definitely has quality and good sense of awesomeness to it (i don't know what i am trying to say here you get the point) but was a Magnum Opus that deserves to be remembered till the time the second cycle Genesis' Myth Repeats itself? i don't think so.
