Do you like Linkin Park?

Are there any Linkin Park fans here? I am a huge fan of this band but I miss Chester he was the best. With this Emily Armstrong, I don't know if she is the right choice for the band.

I was listening to them back when they were just coming out and getting noticed with In The End and never stopped being a fan, even after Chester died.

Big fan since i was a teen, Crawling and In The End are still my favorite songs. Got nothing against Emily, i like her voice! But i think maybe they could just do new songs with her and leave the old ones alone lol.

I got introduced to them through GTA: Vice City, I like a few of their songs like the popular, "In The End", "Crawling in my skin", "Numb", "Burn It Down" and maybe a few more. One of my old time favorites.

Used to listen to them allot as a kid, my brother got me into it. I pretty much liked all there songs.

When I was a kid, they genuinely were my favorite band for quite a few years, Those first few albums especially are still nostalgic for me and remind me of the YouTube AMV era of 2006/7 (It's how I discovered them as well lol). Admittedly I really was not a fan of the last album they released before Chester's passing. That being said though; it did genuinely upset me when I heard the news of Chester's death. He died way too young

I respect Chester a lot as a vocalist. His technique and range were insane. But I could never really get into the band. Just not my thing.

Linkin Park’s The Hunting Party is the most divisive album because of the political undertones. Most fans hated it while some loved it just like I do. This is my favorite song of that album.

Only listened to their older stuff. Anything after Minutes to Midnight I never listened to. Liked what I have listened to, my favorite probably being One Step Closer with What I've Done as a close second.

I will listen to their first 3 albums and nothing after that; Hybrid Theory, Reanimation, and Meteora. Minutes to Midnight killed me interest in the band and I gave up on them after that. I heard some stuff with their new singer and it's okay, sounds more like Paramore featuring Mike Shinoda than it does Linkin Park. Not my thing, but if it's yours enjoy. Back when I drank with my best friend we would drunk karaoke songs off Hybrid Theory with me doing Mike's lines and him doing Chester's.

Hybrid Theory was the first 'rock' album my parents bought for me on cassette as a kid back in 2000. Ever since I seen One Step Closer music video on MTV. I listened to that album everyday for a year straight. Linkin Park were my favorite band at that age, I would show my friends the album, have posters, t-shirts, and seen them perform live 3 times (Meteora World Tour, Projekt Revolution, and an outdoor event).

Reanimation and the early LPU releases eventually leading up to Meteora (which I was pissed at first since it was not going to be released on cassette) I very much into them. But was massively disappointed with the direction they went with Minutes to Midnight from their appearance & sound that was it for me, I was done with them for the time being.

Since then I'd consider myself a casual fan eventually buying A Thousand Suns (it's alright), listening to Living Things, and really enjoying The Hunting Party (my 3rd favorite album from Linkin Park). One More Light didn't appeal to me but From Zero has its moments and brings me somewhat back to the early 2000s.
