I buy manga. I started doing it when a book store opened up at a mall I was working near a few years ago. They had a really nice manga selection, it was fun to browse. Since then I still frequently buy physical manga. It just feels a lot nicer to hold and read compared to doing it on a screen. It's collectible too. I just like having books on a shelf I guess. If you're really done with a series, you can always sell them and get a chunk of your money back....You buy manga?
Yeah I was joking lol, I also buy some manga, only the ones I already read tho, since they are very expensive!I buy manga. Is that something weird? I buy books and manga because I prefer to read on paper than on a screen. I only 'save' on digital media ;)...You buy manga?
yup, I buy them, it's mostly so i can read them at the dinner table in the morning and because I like to build up a collections,...You buy manga?
4komas suffer from being formulaic sometimes. Garfield (yes, I consider it a western 4koma) for example has too many recycling of quirks.Case by case basis. Some manga have awful anime adaptations, some anime deliver the visual narrative and comedy better than a 4-koma manga could. Some manga will never get an anime adaptation, some anime are original stories.
I read some mangas in scans (money and space issue because a 20-30 volumes manga gets expensive quickly) but nothing could change the feeling of touching actual paper and turning pages...I mostly go for the anime first since they are easier to find and I don't like reading manga digitally
Yeah, they take a ton of space, especially longer series, so I now just buy series I really like or finished manga without an adaptationI read some mangas in scans (money and space issue because a 20-30 volumes manga gets expensive quickly) but nothing could change the feeling of touching actual paper and turning pages...
That's why I prefer shorter and complete stories.Yeah, they take a ton of space, especially longer series, so I now just buy series I really like or finished manga without an adaptation
I do read scans for ongoing series (one piece, frieren, berserk) but only because those are not in print yet
Me too, bro.Both
