I have a small physical library, which mostly consists of gamebooks/CYOA-style books. Unfortunately, termites discovered and ruined a good portion of them earlier this year. That discouraged me from investing in any more physical books, at least for now (pest control is still ongoing).
Instead, it finally prompted me to buy a Kindle Paperwhite, and it's been a great experience so far. Physical books are nice, but managing them can be challenging (finding space, protecting them from moisture, mold, and pests, etc.). Having a digital library that I can back up and carry with me on a lightweight device is so worth it.
