Do you buy physical books or use a reader ? (or both

I use both. I love my e-reader to be able to read fanfics, comics and discover new books, but I also like owning my favourites!

I usually download PDF, but if the book is in physical in a thrift shop, come to home baby

I collect non fiction and text books and shit but those tend to be expensive so I have to pirate pretty often. There are some I really wanna read or at least skim through for now which don't have torrents yet and I'm trying not to go out of my way to buy them out of some perceived scarcity because I am broke.

Bit of both. Though as much I love reading physical books (aged paper smell and the tactile feeling for the win), it's more convenient to use in E-reader in most cases (I use "ReadEra" myself)

I get migraines entirely too easily. It's incredibly difficult to even read manga on my phone comfortably so I prefer physical books. I love going to the library and book stores and finding things I otherwise wouldn't have read. That being said idk what they put in the paperwhite kindle to make it so easy on the eyes. I got one as a gift just to try. It easily jumped to one of my most used devices.

The "digital ink" e-readers are beautiful. Exactly the kind of future we should be embracing because it spares the trees and spoils the literate :P

I do both, I buy a book every now and then but I also read on a Reader.

depends on how will i get the book i want, if the book i'm looking for is in stores i would buy it from there but if not i can find it online and read it on my tablet or print it. i like physical more than online

At some point i used to read on my tablet, but overtime im moved to physical books instead. I like the feel of actually holding the book and flipping through the pages, it just feels better.

Reading good old me ?
well I prefer to have the physical its more comfy that to look into a screen for me but
I am probably a minority regarding this.
And certainly I do use both I read online just for more convenience and its cheaper but I had the means and if all the books I was Interested in where purchasable physically I would get them physically I certainly would.
Physical Books are very Important as we should not solely rely on tech that can break
Books hold a vast amount of knowledge that should be preserved.

Physical of course.

I read on my ipad using .epubs, there's some books I like that are long out of print and if I wanted physical copies of all of them I'd be very, very poor.

I also just honestly don't have the room for all the books I'd read anyway. I own 4 books physically and I love those books but the rest are digital.

I only read physical books for the most part. The Pdfs that i have are usually educational, non fiction works

I use an old tablet because I live in a shared apartment and space is kinda limited. I plan to buy an e-ink reader at some point, preferably one without Amazon DRM fuckery.

I use my tablet for reading in general, but if there's something like a light novel or a book I wanna read/own physically, I do buy them from time to time. I also go to the library if needed.
