Welp now I don't know where to spend my time on Discord. That was the only server I really used. I was connected to like 20 other servers but haven't talked on them in years

To be honest, if the whole thing got shut down, I wouldn't blame the mods after all the heat it's drawn the past couple days and reactions from people. For me, forums are the essential place for archiving and discussion but I think it was a nice outreach attempt to have a Discord and go through the trouble of moderating it and all that comes along with it. If it's going to cause headaches and draw additional responsibilities and also be met with such negative feedback, I couldn't blame anybody.

Why thou?

To be honest it got out of control in my opinion, i've seen things done that do not represent me. I've always tried to treat people fairly, I didn't always succeed and I'm truly ashamed for that.
I respect all opinions, as long as you don't break the written rules we decided upon I'm happy.

The treatment of some users in that discord wasn't acceptable to me and I can't in good conscience have that going on and do nothing about it. The amount of time it would take to run it as I would like to doesn't exist in my day to day. I can however run this forums much better. So I rather consolidate users here if possible.

The discord didnt feel necessary imo. Like everyone has a discord these days, but only a small % of them are worthwhile

I honestly would've thought a replacement of the moderation team could've done justice instead of removing it. But if you think that the Discord server being removed is better for you, then that's fine! :D

I don't use Discord, the terms of service includes they'd own (or can use) anything you post there. A lot of stuff can be useless like mentioning public news or what you had on your burger. But ideas and pictures and stuff they can claim ownership of. (Icq and DeviantArt does this too).

Oh well. Do what you think is best Spike.
