Discontinued drinks or food that you miss

Seconding Crystal Pepsi, Fruitopia, and 3D Doritos. I'll also add the following:
  • Choco Taco: I'm not normally into plain vanilla ice cream, but the cone shell, fudge, and peanuts make the difference. Huge improvement over standard fudge cones as the fudge covers more of the "cone."
  • SoBe: Best tasting energy drinks ever. Flavors and ingredients that hadn't been in any soft drinks beforehand.
  • Oreo cereal: Still available in Korean stores, but would like it to be more conveniently distributed.
  • BongBong crackers: Not discontinued, but a PITA to find outside of Korea. K-stores tend to do a poor job of keeping them in stock.

I still crave lays tomato and basil chips. They were so good but have been gone for a long time.

Alright kids, let me tell you a tale:
A tale of the greatest soda ever made! I remember it like it was yesterday...
In 2016, on a date at my favorite upscale pizza place, they had a new flavor of Pepsi. Now, back in those days, we all knew Cherry Pepsi was the superior cherry cola. It's just so much more cherry than cherry coke, and it blends better with Pepsi's lighter, sweeter flavor. Anyhow, at this time Vanilla Coke was becoming a big thing. Everyone loved Vanilla sodas, it was the style of the time. 'Give me a vanilla for five bees', you'd say.
So, imagine my excitement, when in the midst of a pretty bad date, I noticed CHERRY-VANILLA PEPSI!!! It was like the case from Pulp Fiction--exactly as you're imagining. Oh dude it was so so good. I can't even communicate what was so good with description, but you'd taste the fruity cherry, then the floral vanilla flavor, then the aftertaste would hit you and it ruled! It tasted kind of like Styrofoam, but Styrofoam that loved you. It was such an addictive flavor, and as a sugar-addicted teen, I bought them almost daily in the local CVS.
Then, the CVS stopped carrying them, so I had to go to the much further Target. Then, that Target stopped carrying them. As I broadened my hunt, they kept going extinct, until finally they were fully discontinued. I was shattered, and never fully forgot.
One day, well into my first semester of college, I was walking through a Walmart with my then-girlfriend, and telling her about this long gone soda, when she pointed it out. I couldn't believe my eyes. It was back! Soon, I introduced the wonders of Cherry-Vanilla Pepsi to my roommate, and he fell in love too. Our minifridge was full of almost exclusively this soda. But, just as soon as it came back, it left again, searing attachment issues into my soul. Sure, Coke tried their hand at a Cherry-Vanilla flavor, but it didn't have the lovely aftertaste. Cherry-Cream Pepsi is a damn joke and proof there is no god in this world.
The larger soda-drinking world may have forgotten this lovely beverage, but I never will.

Yes I know the fudgebomb pop does exist but I swear the recipe is different, the banana in the middle isn't as flavorful. The second is just pure nostalgia and wouldn't buy it today...maybe.

Crystal Pepsi, Surge, 3D Doritos. I would add Alpha Burritos but they seem to have made a comeback, although they don't taste as good as before. Same with Butterfinger, I am positive they changed the recipe and it kinda sucks now.

Zima. It's a clear, citrus-y, shitty malt alcoholic beverage. It was more prevalent in the US during the 90s, I remember vaguely seeing some ads on TV as a kid. The drink isn't that good, and the ads were all pretty weird, so maybe that's why it never really caught on. In Japan it has persisted more, probably because they have normal ads of attractive people drinking it. Anyway, I didn't try it then of course, but in 2018 they brought it back for the summer for some reason and a friend and I tried it and became fans. Like I said, it's certainly not good, but something about it just hit right. An older friend told me the thing to do back in the 90s was to drop a Jolly Rancher candy into a bottle of Zima and let it dissolve a bit to give it more flavor. One of my roommates went to Japan last year, where you can still get Zima, and brought some back, but they either changed the recipe or Japanese Zima just has a different flavor, I didn't enjoy it as much.

Also, these vegan jalapeno burgers are insanely good. There's a discount grocery chain on the west cost called Grocery Outlet that gets bulk random discount foods, and they had these for a while. I haven't been able to find any way to buy them in the US, the brand seems to be based out of the UK so I have no idea how these burgers ended up here. I've seen other Wicked Kitchen products since then, but no burgers.

Mt Dew Typhoon was perhaps the best flavor they ever did, it was just like fizzy Hawaiian Punch. But it lost the voting contest to... Aftershock? The white one that just tasted like Sprite.

There used to be these 4-pack bottles you could buy that were floats: Sunkist (orange) and A&W (root beer) that you just chill, open, and enjoy. This was probably 2009ish? I think they were around for one year.

Couldn't find a picture that worked but the Doritos Jacked Spicy Street Taco flavor. They were so unhealthy but damn did they taste good. Also gotta hit them with the classic.

idk if someone said this already, but those SOUR CHEWY SWEETTARTS
holy fuck those were so good, even if they were so sour theyd rip up the inside of my mouth more than sour skittles

also an honourable mention to Mountain Dew White Out, may she forever rest in peace u.u

descarga-3.jpeg Krave was discontinued in México a few years ago it's probably my favorite cereal

Altoids were also discontinued over here, shame because I loved their cinnamon mints and I haven't been able to find something similar

Wonka Bars! Does anyone else remember these!?
Not only do I remember them, I would sell my first-born child for them

These are bamboo-charcoal-covered peanuts and they are the absolute bomb-diggity! My local Korean market used to sell these in the snack isle until they didn't. The only place I can find them is online at massively inflated prices (I'm guessing hoarders selling their stock) and even then, they sell out quickly. i cri eryday ?

Sobe's Strawberry Daquiri flavor.
89 cent chicken burritos at Taco Bell\
If they ever discontinue Jujyfruits I will riot.

When I was a kid this Danish brand of milkshakes used to have a fourth banana flavor. I L-O-V-E-D it!!! ...and therefore they discontinued it. Yes, because they knew it was my favorite. I am certain that's why.

Oh how I miss you so... Apparently they're still sold outside of the US, but for my purposes it is as good as gone. The main competitors were drinks like Gatorade or Powerade but neither of them came close in terms of taste. Weirdest thing to praise but I also love the texture and shape of the bottle compared to the competitors.

Wonka Bars!
Does anyone else remember these!? I think they were introduced to promote that 2000s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory remake, but Wikipedia tells me they hung around until 2010 or so. They were a chocolate-covered graham cracker candy bar, but it was actually a full, unbroken graham cracker completely coated in high-quality chocolate. I haven't had one in about 15 years, but I remember them being crispy, buttery, and scrum-diddly-umptious. In fact, there's never been a Wonka-branded candy product I didn't adore.
The packaging for these things was also so peak compared to other chocolate bars. The whole experience was just several cuts above any other candy you could get outside of the premium stuff.

I was buying these almost weekly ... then for some reason they phased it out in 2015 ! :(
Though I kinda LOL'd back then when there was this Circle K that was probably the last store that carried them ... I walked in for practically a second ( because they used to be located at the entrance) when the clerk had his back turned from the door and I noticed they had no more for good ... quickly went back into my car and the clerk just rushed out looking all frantic ... probably thought someone did a quick snatch and grab but nah lol

Anyway .. sad :( I guess StarBucks had devious plans to markup all their items and I'm sure this costing more than $3 would not be justified

recent one nutter butter cakesters .. things were so good oreo cakesters suckkkkkk the two arent even comparable it is a crime theyre gone

Just vanilla coke here in Canada. It's in the USA but it costs a lot to import. Tried making a vanilla-sugar syrup to add to regular coke but it's hard to know if I'm getting it right since I haven't had it in 20 years. They brought cherry Coke back (at least for now) and it's not bad.
