For the longest time I have been avoiding to buy it because of how obnoxious social medial influencers were about it and because its EXPENSIVE!

I tried Dubai Chocolate for first time some days ago and... that's underwelming?
Where is the PISTACHIO Taste in this? There was no nut flavor in this! The chocolate overshadowed everything!

and I love chocolate with Nuts, and the colour green!
Hazelnut being my GO TO and occasionally Almonds

Those DARN TikTok influencers pushing and advertising this so hard ::badpc

I DIDN'T! How DARE YOU accuse me! I'm acknowledging how obnoxious they are!
::huhsonic
and it was my father who bought it home!

Dude I was just teasing you. But yeah, I don't think you should pay attention to what they say on tik tok.

I follow a lot of people in social media because I like hearing opinions and watching people do stupid things I wouldn't dare attempting myself, but the chief lesson I got from it is that, if a company would resort to having a cute-looking girl or someone whose whole gig couldn't be farther from whatever product they are tasked to promote, then that product must really fucking suck.

You know, Raid Shadow Legends, BlueChew and Manscaping came to mind as I thought of this post. Products I've heard advertised by various social media "personalities" over and over that I have no interest in trying. I don't even know how someone could shill for those products and still have respect for themselves.

I’m honestly not interested in it because it’s probably very expensive for what’s probably a really above-average choco bar. I think social media isn’t always wrong about food but they tend to over exaggerate and overhype some foods to the point where they’d never live up to expectations. I love kewpie mayo for example (YEARS before it got viral because I saw it in Gintama first) but a former acquaintance of mine was exposed to it due to going viral, tried it and didn’t get the hype which I mean fair enough I guess.

Okay, admittedly, I did play a bit of Raid: Shadow Legends back when I was a Media Grift victim, but I have to say that on par with console games or other more premium mobile titles (I.E. The Sonic the Hedgehog ports) it is not. I just can't stand the Gacha genre, even if Raid is admittedly one of the better ones.

EDIT: But yeah, people tend to overhype nowadays, and the end results are often less then desirable, but still okay at best, and downright god-awful at worst.

But... But... ExpressVPN ;D

I keep hearing about this chocolate but I feel like it's manufactured viral marketing. What store even sells it? I don't see it anywhere. Then again there are no fancy shops around here. I don't live in the organic granola six figures part of the city.

This thing got REALLY popular in my home town a few months ago and my mom decided to make some. It wasn't bad but it too expensive for what it is. I'm sure the ones they sell in the turkish markets ,which there are too many in my town, aren't better, but I know they are just as expensive.

I keep seeing this in my corner shop and I'm not even kind of tempted. Honestly, trend aside, the idea seems good, just not "make a twat of yourself" good.

As always, your best bet is to wait for the trend to die off. These stores will 100% over stock this shit and then you'll be able to get it dirt cheap, and you're basically helping to clear up the surplus rather than encouraging more needless importation or manufacturing.

YouTube sponsors are basically proves that If the product gets obnoxious amount on sponsored advertisement it's not good in the first place!

The YouTuber Shane_McGillicuddy has dedicated his channel into going through all the YouTube sponsored products and reviewing them

Its chocolate filled with this paste made out of pistachios and khadayif which is like shredded filo pastry.

Apparently some lady in Dubai invented it when she was pregnant and then she or someone she knew posted it to tiktok and then the Internet does what it does to stuff

So, it's a pistachio filled chocolate bar? Seems kinda simple to be so hyped up...

Dubai and Chocolate holy combination, meshing garbage and trash.
