I just hope Digimon finally let go the Royal Knights, the Demon Lords, Holy Beast and the other overused enemies that shows up in one way or another almost everytime to rest for a bit

I mean, there are a lot of other groups of Digimons that can be used to make a plot both in anime and videogames, but is always the same

Like the Olympos, the Banchos (other than Leomon), and all the other groups of Digimons they created yet never use

ALL THE SERIES?! You guys are way more committing than us, gg.
I'm still at episode 11 of Frontiers with the mentioned movie watched. I feel I'm just gonna stick with Beatbreak.
Teorically speaking i watched the first one with two different friends at different times but the second friend stopped watching it at 02 for now so i almost completed the whole watch with only one friend, canon movies included, we took a whole year and we are still watching the reboot of adventure and we should finish appli monster after that, and we are watching beatbreak too when an episode get released, take your time and watch one of them at a time, nobody is rushing you to end the series after all, we watched a lot of the last seasons like 2/3/4 episodes a day skipping some days too, and i have to say it was worth it, aside from the reboot that for now it's really bad and appli monster that is too much different in some ways from the rest of the series... for frontier i feel after some point, it start to get extremely rushed and lose it's sense of self as a series, but i enjoyed some part of it so i hope you will enjoy at least those parts of it too!!

i don't think they should let them go but i think they should give other groups some space too like they do in the videogames definitely...

I was watching Tamers but I then lost interest in it. I still think calumon is very cute tho

I like Digimon but somehow the series has fallen into obscurity. I watched the first seasons with Tai and his friends but somehow I lost interest because it couldn't go on any longer no idea what happened. A new game has come out now, has anyone played it yet how is it?

The first digimon anime that i watched when i was young is digimon xros wars (or fusion), i watched on netflix a long time ago if i remember correctly but with time i forgot all the details of the story only memory fragments, and the second digimon series that i watched is digimon adventure but i stopped watching.

i was still in the beggining of adventure 1.

I really liked Adventure 2 (which I've NEVER understood the hate for) and Tamers (mainly because how dangerous it felt)

Recovered every Beatbreak episode, including the fresh new one that just aired.

I know that in other series this matter never had been full coherent, especially for the matter that Rookie and Champion together can beat an Ultimate. And I was starting (still am tbh) to blame the e-Pulse by how unbalacing everything can turn out in advantage. But now Pandamon, if ready to sacrifice and giving all itself could beat an Ultimate like Astamon, welp at this point none of this matters anymore.

Oh, and Gekkomon still hasn't digievolved yet, on top of it.

I like both tamers and ghost game because of how they treat the digimon like... Actual digital monsters while still not going full edgy and angsty. Digimon adventure tri failed because it tried to be too angsty and edgy.

Besides the entire series already has it's fair share of more serious and darker topics that it doesn't shy away from. I will never understand why toei executive's thought tri was even remotely a good idea.

The great thing is that both beatbreak and digimon story time stranger seem to be following the formula set by tamers and ghost game while not losing the heart and optimism that adventure and adventure 02 had.

i agree with everything but i correct you on one thing,
Astamon is not Ultimate, is Perfect, and Pandamon is Perfect too, so the power level is not that far, but i still think they are abusing the e-pulse buff

I relate, except I started with Digimon Data Squad (Savers) and that was on Jetix when I was little. I guess I was too young to remember it at the time, so I forgot about it/Digimon as a whole. Watched Fusion(Xros Wars) when it came out and honestly, it made me not take Digimon seriously as a child. I had to change that when I finally sat down and watched the other series. So now I appreciate Digimon just as I should have. :>

Whaaat, Tamers is REALLY good though! If you're watching it subbed that's the best way since the dub takes out some cool lines in the story.

I stopped by episode 6 fyi

Tamers is one of the few seasons that gets better as the story goes

At the start is slow to present the kids and their life with their families and friends (this one was the first one where adults ARE important to the plot other than give support or dont show up at all)
