Did anyone understand the cover of Silent Hill 1?

I understood the meaning of American and European covers, but nothing from the Japanese one (if anyone wants to help...)

I see them adding "Horror Adventure" there as an admission of defeat, but I think it's a neat cover — it immediately tells you that it's gonna be a bloody affair, and blood stains on hospital walls are always an easy sale for me.

A lot of Japanese PS1 games just put the genre on the cover, it's pretty normal. Especially Konami ones.

I guess it's just abstract design for the game's atmosphere and the hospital subplot, japanese designers love that mysterious stuff
