Budokai 1: Back then the very first DBZ game that actually had animated cutscenes and not just a 3D model with limited movement (something that sadly was a thing even in tenkaichi)
Budokai 2: Underrated. Many hated the board game story mode, but the fact that the story had a lot of changes and funny moments (Super Bu what ifs forms and the fact that unlocking Videl in your first run was one the hardest things in the game).
Not to mention the music, no one can say that the theme "Go For It!" in the credits wasnt badass after beating that cheap ass Kid Buu
Budokai 3: A world map full of secrets and what ifs with also a great gameplay that improved everything the other two did?, Awesome!.
My only problem is how many stuff didnt got in that could had made the game way longer. I mean, the fact that only Piccolo has a full what if story compared to the rest was a shame
(Bonus) Infinite World: Yeah, i know that this one goes more to the shin budokai series, but it was presented as Budokai "4" for a time since it was almost the same. The minigames where a mixed experience, some where fun, others not that much
I found this one short compares to 3 even with the GT charactes in (Other than One Star and the SSJ4 forms)
Tenkaichi 1: The gameplay give fans the feel of how battles where in the anime, being able to fly around and use it to get a win was cool.
Im the only one that found this Tenkaichi oddy hard?
Tenkaichi 2: The story mode, just the story mode. The what ifs, the gameplay, everything says "they did it, they learned". Even the whole "destroy everything to find the Dragon Balls only for the CPU to take it just by charging at you" was fun to see
Tenkaichi 3: Oh boy, the big one. The most overrated DBZ game ever, with a good reason.
Not only it gives us a lot of characters with the bonus of some classic DB ones in the mix, but the gameplay is now even more faster with focus of how counter works (you cant just spam buttons with a Hard CPU or a player that knows how to play). That said, is indeed a problem how many characters feels the same when you play as them
Also a shame how the story mode seems to be the only thing that got worse
There is also Tag Team and the Shin Budokais who has their charms (Evolution wont count ever on this, right?)
