I used to think this as a kid when I played BT3 after playing BT2, and while it is undoubtedly true that BT2 does a better job at telling the story, now that I've replayed BT2 I think that the story mode feels pretty tedious and overly long. Someone who playes BT3 story mode without knowing DBZ's story is going to be really confused, but the at least it doesn't feel too long. And the mechanic where you can push R3 to advance the story, or not and made alternative scenarios, was such a cool idea in my opinion. If they made more ramifications for different outcomes, that would have been awesome.tenkaichi 2 for story, tenkaichi 3 for gameplay
