Hoping its not multiplayer focus, i like the singleplayer aspect of Crazy Taxi
Well you haven't been keeping up with what's been said if that's your conclusion. In fact, you liked the post that gave fuck all about the lives of people who rely on jobs like waiting tables. And if you've ever done that, you'd know that you make good money in tips.no ones yearning for blue collar people to lose their jobs, mate. you seem to have a vendetta to artists though. i want AI to improve peoples lives and help them, not replace them.
Like i said, theres better ways of solving those issues than relying on AI. Maybe not wasting millions on live service garbage and not constantly giving CEOs massive bonuses. maybe unionising game devsAnd yes, I don't care if AI means less people working on a project. Games take too long to make, increasing the cost to develop them, and it's entirely unsustainable, hence the layoffs in recent years.
How does unionizing solve the cost of game development? That would just make it more difficult to get rid of people. That would make game development even more costly. You know why they wasted money on live service? Because those AAA single player games are so costly and they want to have a reliable revenue stream coming in to cover the cost of those AAA Hollywood blockbusters. Sony's talked about this. It hasn't really worked out for them, though. As for CEO pay and bonuses, not gonna happen. Literal pipe dream shit.Like i said, theres better ways of solving those issues than relying on AI. GenAI is nothing but corporate snake oil. it will benefit no one outside the fatcat executives who only seek profits
The originals had product placement. You don't get more "corporate" than that.flame wars aside. have yall seen the gameplay? it looks bland as hell. no doubt theyre taking out everything that made the original fun to play just to appeal to the masses. its all so corporate
eh at least the game was fun. old one has a lot more aesthetic integrity and the physics look way worse in the new oneThe originals had product placement. You don't get more "corporate" than that.
this franchise really cant catch a break can it?View attachment 195298
Bad news, Everyone
As much as I love the originals, World Tour is about the best outcome that I could've expected with modern graphics--it totally captures the Crazy Taxi vibe. The worst outcome would be something like Taxi Chaos:eh at least the game was fun. old one has a lot more aesthetic integrity and the physics look way worse in the new one

Was it good? Decent at least? I prefer that over that one mobile phone app.WOW! We haven't had a new Crazy Taxi game since Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars on the PSP back in 2007!

It was, and I don't count the mobile games because they were total crap. Was it good? Decent at least? I prefer that over that one mobile phone app.
Do they still have that patent?
it's such a shame! the boost/limiter cut give barely any extra speed and the drift isn't dynamic at all, it all looks very stiff. I was hoping they could at least approximate crazy taxi 3's heavier physics but it doesn't look like that will be even be the benchmarkflame wars aside. have yall seen the gameplay? it looks bland as hell. no doubt theyre taking out everything that made the original fun to play just to appeal to the masses. its all so corporate
oh, hell...Also i read the game has Denuvo DRM on PC, not a good sign.
I remember that this is why that one Simpsons game got sued.Do they still have that patent?
