I don't think sega is going to release a new console honestly, the thing is, Sega saved Nvidia in 1995 when they decided to invest 5 million dollars on nvidia in that year, they didn't have to do it, but they did anyway, nvidia was at the brink of bankruptcy and that extra money investment helped the company survive.
I also don't think any initiative would be lead by Sega.
On other hand, Nvidea has GPUs and lots of money to spend now and Sega has the knowledge and the exclusive games. These CEOs don't usually make appearances like this just for simple appreciation. It could be only that, though. But we can always dream and imagine, what if... :-)
