I don't use hashtags, but if you are place them in the description and make it like 3, also make it relevant to the video as many use it sparingly for extra clicks.

Do you all use hashtags? I’m getting more views but also dislikes from them.

I think a lot of people probably expect me to be using a nice handheld and playing the games well, so they just are rude and dislike.

I use hashtags on my videos, but as metadata. When you set a title, description and all that stuff, there's a section where you can add hashtags. They wont apear on title or descriptions, but still making your videos revelant.

My channel won't interest anyone who doesn't care about watching short funny moments in video games, hacks and mods of PS1, PS2, Wii U and Switch games (I mostly hack and mod PS2 games though) and my AI-generated songs that I write the lyrics lol.

Ah yes, I also do this Youtube thing from time to time. Though, my channel is more like The End from MGS3 -- its dead for 2-3 months while I'm working on the next long ass video, and then when it drops I go back into burnout coma.
