My red PSP, my duke controller and my ps1 mini. All proud purchases.

I've collected many Treasures and had a nose for obscure and underrated games .In Europe (germany exactly) werent many collectors at the time , so the prices of rare games were really affordable but changed at the 2010s suddenly . - Starwing Competition (Snes)

- Call of Cthulhu : Dark corners of the earth (Xbox)

- Otogi: Myth of demons (xbox)

- Gradius V (ps2)

- Megaman Legends 1&2 (ps1)

- Castlevania Chronicles (ps1)

- Castlevania SotN (ps1)

- The adventures of Alundra (ps1)

- Terranigma (snes)

Mega Man Legends cameo.

My Neo Geo AES and games. Though I don't have that many games for it:
Art of Fighting, Art of Fighting 2, Fatal Fury, Fatal Fury 2, Fatal Fury Special, KOF 94, KOF 96, Samurai Shodown, Samurai Shodown II.

It's nothing fancy, but I'm very happy to own a copy of Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence for PS2. The European version that came with three discs

For me, the number one in my collection is definitely my copy of the Nocturne deluxe pack signed by Kazuma Kaneko. When I bought this, the seller made no mention of it, and I don't even think they showed it in the listing photos, so it was a complete surprise to me when it finally arrived and I was greeted by it. I'd really love to know the story of how it came to be - like what event it happened at, was there some photos taken of the original owner and Kaneko, etc etc. I personally wouldn't part with this for darn near anything in the world. He's without a doubt my favorite artist of all time, and has worked on almost all my favorite games in one way or another, so a massive thank you to whoever got this signed.

^ A bunch in there, no Hack Quarantine sadly but I have all 3 XenoSagas, Chulip, SkyGunner, basically everything I could ever want to. I own over 200 PS2 games.

ALL my VFDs, not just these

This particular SuperVision, I have found only ONE person with the same model with the MTC logo on the screen online. It's not the form factor that is rare but the MTC Logo placement.

I have around 100ish NES games, more if you combine my famicom library too but here are some of my holy grails and I got them all when retro games were cheap.

all 100% original except as you can see surprise at dinsoaur peak but that's there because that particular famiclone cart holds strong sentimental value to me having gronw up here in the balkans and all.

there's a ton more guys, I could be posting forever

Soleil English, Story of Thor English both played through and finished completely

Terranigma English, fully played and finished god I adore that game

^ The clarify the Alien Soldier cart is 100% original, the boxart on the case is a print I made because the original was faded and in the worst possible shape, that's gone now.

My two complete, near-mint copies of the PSX Lunar games. Picture is half a decade old; all the games live in a nicer place now, all together etc, but it's the one picture I have where you can see both clearly.

Your collection is the kind of thing I strive to have for myself one day. It’ll be hard in this market, but I can tell from what you showed that patience is the key. I can tell this is a collection that’s more than 20 years worth of collecting.

When I collected physical games and systems I had 3 pristine Sega CDX consoles:

I also had Panzer Dragoon Saga in near mint condition. I don't collect anymore as I have become much more interested in emulation. I am a minimalist and do not like clutter.

I still have a big box original copy of Deus Ex on the PC that I bought for £5 many many years ago.

When it comes to perceived "value" I guess Pokemon Black 1 and 2 in my collection win that. Great games but by jove are they overpriced on the second hand market.

It's just stuff that's been accumulating over the years for the most part. Sadly I will never own all the PS1, Saturn and Dreamcast games I want original. We had literally everything here but it was all bootleg games which I'm fine with, don't get me wrong, but by the time I was able to use paypal and eBay the PS1 and Saturn games I wanted had already skyrocketed in price. Fortunately PS2 was still cheap so I managed to place most of my bootleg games with originals 2014-2018 or so.
The 8 and 16bit stuff was mostly bought locally for next to nothing while retro games were still cheap with some expection and a good chunk of my mega drive games I've had since i was a kid.

Might I ask, where are you collecting from? I can tell it’s a Pal territory, but that’s a VERY broad space.

It depends, some of my games I used to buy locally, some online. I have a mix of regions in my library and don't particularly care if a game is PAL or NTSC US as long as it's playable and I can understand it. I even have a good ton of Japanese SFC and FC games too and some PS2 Japan titles too

Thanks to bootleg, my country would always have games from ALL regions, as far back as the NES(Famiclone) so we'd often get many Japan exclusives too.

For example, this is my Don Doko Don 2 original which I imported fro Japan(top) and famiclone bootleg(bottom) that was sold here in Macedonia back in the early 90's and was actually a very common game

Godzilla PS4 (2014)

Terrible game, but I find it to have a certain charm to it. As a teenager I thought it was gonna usher a new age of Godzilla games, but Bandai dropped the ball. ::sadkirby

I don’t think it’s TERRIBLE. It’s marketed badly, definitely (they say it’s a fighting game WTF), but as a Kaiju simulator it’s pretty fun! Very repetitive though.

I’ve played the PS3 version. Fun game.

I don't know if it counts anymore, but years ago I had the Batman: Arkham Asylum with the batarang, until I got rid of it because I couldn't care less anymore. I don't collect nothing, when I get bored of something I immediately lose interest.

I used to have CD's of many PC games like GTA: San Andreas, Need For Speed: Most Wanted (2005 and 2012 versions), Trackmania Turbo, Lots and Lots of unofficial game compilation discs, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Driver: San Francisco, Command & Conquer: Generals, Need For Speed: Underground 2, Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2, Need For Speed: Rivals, and many others I don't remember.

Mine is either my Dreamcast Katana dev kit or my signed copy of Ralph Baer Pinball (Father of video games). The pinball game is a sentimental favorite since it has good memories associated with it.
