SIXTYFOUR!!

Pure madness in this economy. Pure madness.

Never heard about the game before so can´t be that special but.

64GB ram but only 8GB vram. Im not sure they know how computers works. Like are they trying to store most of the game on the Ram it self.

Back in the day before Hard drive where very common some program could temporary store in the ream if you did not turn of the power so when you booted up the PC again you could continue to do what you where doing but that was when DOS was standard.

If they game demands 64gb of ram I start to wonder is the game so poorly optimized or are they paid by Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron Technology. To sell more Ram ?

And to think I used to grimace at games demanding an 8 GB stick...

Ain't no fucking way, dude. The First Descendant which essentially the same fucking game, with the same fucking visual style (because it's UE5 where 80% of the games has 1:1 in visual), and the same fucking plot, only requires quarter of the (presumably) insane RAM minimum and recommendation.

The Steam discussion page going to be wild.

The type of beast that is needed to play that game:

does it REALLY use 64gb ram or just a "suggestion"?
i've NEVER seen a game use more than 10gb RAM (and that was ONLY via switch emulation)
the min says 32gb ram so it's not clear what 64gb RAM would actually change...

NC Soft, on one side you have Guild Wars 2, on the other you have Blade & Soul. Gives you the off vibes of a terrible flop. I will reiterate, Stellar Blade was a big surprise, an unicorn really. Korean games are terrible and MMORPG slop rotten to their core. Crimson Desert is a huge warning in what to expect, and Stellar Blade is not a 10/10, would be a 7, but they are spending as if they were the new king Midas in gaming. Brace yourselves.
