I must say, this was totally NOT what I was expecting at all. I've barely scratched the surface and have no idea what to expect. I struggled to scan a real barcode earlier, and I don't know if you can go through the whole thing just generating random ones. I hope so

I have to extract the rar right? Cause the emulator doesn't see those files. The most far I got was to zip it again and that's how i got this screen lol.

I'd advise trying to install the base game PKG by itself and then trying to install the patch by decompressing the RAR contents into the ux0 folder.

Thanks a lot, I was waiting for the English patch. I loved Ar nosurge so I was eagerly waiting to play this game. I hope the waiting was worthwhile. Sooo.. I will disappear for a couple of weeks hehe.. :P

Must I get dlc from PK-gj directly on Vita or are they already into your patch? I'm trying to patch it myself with the patch in your site, since you said a folder is missing in this repo file.

I proceeded as said in my previous comments (got everything from pk-gj, also the 8 dlc available there); then I've followed the patching instructions in the pdf, including the ones regarding the two extra dlc, and now in the Install Status inside game there are 10 dlc, 3 voice packs and 7 premiums.

The Ar Tonelico series is one of my all-time favorites that few things come close to in terms of quality and nostalgia. Wish it will be revived someday in some way, but this gives a similar feeling.

I'm assuming the DLC is working for me on Vita, as it's showing under installed on the settings menu for 3 voice packs, a BGM pack, and 4 other things.

User Garnyo has posted a link to the dlcs in previous comments: can we use those dlc with the file here in the repo to play correctly the game? I haven't tried it yet on my vita

It's worth trying, though you'll need to refresh the LiveArea and license database through VitaShell after you copy the DLCs to your Vita.

However, we've checked the prepatched builds hosted here, and we've noticed they have the following issues:

- The "Orig" folder was removed, and that folder must remain in place for any updates we make to the patch in the future to work.
- None of the DLC that wasn't part of the patch archive is included in these builds. This is particularly critical because 95% of the voice acting in the game is part of that missing DLC.
- The Vita3k build has several patched files inside the "patch" folder instead of the "app" one. Vita3k patched builds need to include everything in the "app" folder or the game may have weird issues.

So I'd like to request two new builds to be uploaded with all these issues solved.

It's a possibility, yes. I'd advise to try reinstalling the game and the patch from scratch to see if that helps.

In vita3k it crashes for me while in the dream world (either creating the fairies or trying to repair the nodes). Anyone playing normally that can share their settings?

I'm just happy they wound up releasing the patch despite the Twitter controversy, it got kind of messy. Looks like it just pushed the release date back a bit to now.

It has been 84 years...

Been waiting for this one since it was first announced. It's just a shame that it took so long, but better late then never! I'm honestly really glad that they added as much as they could.

It's a shame that the Exa Pico universe is basically dead and has been since this game's release. Well, at least we got 5 (mostly) great games during this era, even if the official NISA translations are garbage tier.

I think tecmo said they wanted to go back to ar tonelico at some point. Let's pray for a remaster or even a remake like Marie
