If you think it can work out for you, go for it. Though all three games in the Dominus collection are Metroidvanias. The only exceptions are the bonus games, Haunted Castle and Haunted Castle Revisited. Both are pretty much Castlevania arcade games. Just skip towards Revisited, whenever you need a break from any of the other three games.
It sucks that season 3 probably won't happen. I wish it would.
I know they had to let go of people after Season 2 finished, and the problems with the animation industry as a whole, but nothing has been made official yet. We'll see how it goes, but I have a feeling Season 3 will show up at some point. If not, it ends closed off enough, but there are still a few loose ends hanging on in the final episode of Season 2. This is the only thing I hate about Netflix shows. It's always an assumption, even when things are going great for a show and its viewership.

Absolutely, her drawing style is awesome, especially amazing that it's all self taught. It's a shame Konami just thought it would be a good idea and use a different art style for Dawn of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin.
Yeah, it's fucked up.
Yeah, the reason for Konami was to appeal to a younger audience but in the end they went back to a more mature art style for Order of Ecclesia, so it was just a dumb effort.
I wouldn't mind a different art style, if it wasn't the most generic anime style possible.
