I think his designs are extremely cool and a much needed breath of fresh air to the series. It was edgy but Castlevania characters never looked better imo.

I like this game, was awesome having a fighting game on the Wii at the time. The only fighting games besides Smash bros, was Guilty Gear, Naruto, Bleach and TvC Ultimate All Stars

Saw it at GameStop before I knew what Castlevania was. Wish I nabbed it because it looks like something I would have enjoyed even if Simon Belmont looks like a stripper Light Yagami. The other character designs are really cool however.

it would have been cool to have had more variety of characters. we got a regular monster as a playable character, they could have added a few more in, like the armor knight enemies or some more obscure characters.

i think only a few characters benefited from the art style. trevor, grant, sypha, cornell and death look very awesome. alucard and simon look like anime pretty boys. aeon was interesting. golem looked well designed. dracula was good as well. maria and eric were, acceptable, i guess. don't know much about them to form an opinion on their designs. i do not like carmilla's design. that was trying too hard to make an ivy valentine character out of her. her circle of the moon appearance is her best one. i didn't like the hat thing shanoa was wearing. it looked weird.

a lot of people would like the designs overall. there's like 14 characters, and i only think 3 aren't that good. so 11 are designed fairly well and fit the aesthetic of the series.
if konami could care about the series, they could give it another shot and add in even more characters and new levels as well. maybe even cross over a couple of other series that they have with it as well.

It is once You start to get used to the controls, and the Music makes it much more fun to play!

But yes, it’s fun, I don’t remember playing that much when I was a teenager but its worth checking out

Very fun game to fuck around in and I loved /most/ of the designs. It definitely falls apart if you play with someone trying hard to win since the game doesn't give you a lot of tools to catch a player running away on most stages. High level Judgement is a lot like high level Power Stone 2 where it just devolves into the lamest style of play imaginable, unfortunately.

Still, just running thru an arcade ladder or doing the castle explorer side mode is great fun and I think anyone interested would do well to give it a shot and see if they enjoy themselves.
