Wii can't get Wii games to work from my 1tb hard drive on USB Loader GX and WiiFlow despite the fact that Gamecube ones work fine on Nintendon't

plz help
I recently backed up a good portion of my family's Wii collection and used Wii Backup Fusion to convert them to WBFS and copy them over to a 2.5-inch 1TB Toshiba hard drive I acquired a while back. However, I am hitting a roadblock as none of them seem to load on USB Loader GX and WiiFlow. Both loaders detect them fine on their menus but for some reason, every time I try to boot one of those games, my HDD's enclosure's light stops blinking and my Wii hangs on a black screen. And BTW, I've installed the necessary cIOSs and formatted my hard drive to FAT32. I even got a y-cable yet it still can't boot Wii games! >:(
It's rather frustrating as the Gamecube ones on that same hard drive work fine on Nintendon't yet for some reason, Wii games are giving it issues. So, what exactly am I doing wrong here? And how can I fix it?

This is a very common issue, and the fact that GameCube games work on Nintendon't points to a specific set of problems with how your Wii games are set up. Nintendon't is more lenient with drive formatting and folder structures than USB Loader GX and WiiFlow. The most likely culprit is your hard drive's format or partition table. Format to FAT32: USB Loader GX and WiiFlow require the drive to be formatted as FAT32. Windows cannot format drives larger than 32GB to FAT32 natively, so you must use a third-party formatting tool like GUIFormat or perform the format through Wii Backup Manager. 32KB cluster size: When formatting, be sure to set the "Allocation unit size" or "cluster size" to 32 KB.
Partition Table: The drive must use a Master Boot Record (MBR) partition table, not GPT, which is often used on modern large hard drives. Try this maybe it will help.

I am on Linux Mint 22.2 Cinnamon
my drive is already formatted as FAT32
I've structured the folders properly yet I still get a freakin' black screen >:(

i had a very similar problem and my best bet was just re-mod my wii. Though my mod and loadergx was so old it did not even have options to change what the loader was looking for, so i couldn't even properly troubleshoot

Ok I'm sorry but I don't know much about Linux Mint I can't help you. Be careful not to break your device.

I even reformated it via the terminal and consulting an AI (Grok) but it still gives me a freakin' black screen! >:(

OK, as it turns out, I forgot to set the chunk size option of CleanRip to 3GB so I am currently re-ripping the games
