Broken Relic brings a modern love letter to classic point-and-click adventures to Kickstarter

Solo developer Pablo Morales (King, Rebellion, Ubisoft) has launched the Kickstarter campaign for Broken Relic, a pixel-art point-and-click adventure built with classic DNA: witty interactions, clever puzzle chains, and scenes you want to linger on. The campaign is live at Kickstarter and it also has a great demo on Steam.

“I grew up on LucasArts and Sierra, trading puzzle solutions at school and dreaming of making one myself. Broken Relic is that dream: a heartfelt, modern take on the adventure I always wanted to play,” said creator Pablo Morales. “If those games shaped you too, I think this will feel like home.”

What is Broken Relic?

You play Tim, an apprentice who unleashes an ancient threat and must recover three relic shards to set things right. Expect characterful dialogue, hand-crafted pixel art, and puzzle design that rewards curiosity over guesswork.

The last one of these types of games I think I played and enjoyed was Theresia for NDS. Pretty dark game too. The sequel was some kind of mobile only thing in Japan though, shame.

Not bad the game and really Retro. Thank you 👍
