Have any of you ever had braces? Do you still have them?
I've had mine a very very long time over three treatments. The orthodontist office is basically a second home for me, which is ridiculous lmao. Still have a couple of years to go!

I had the kind that wasn't permanently attached to your mouth and could be taken off a couple of hours a day. I remember them feeling a bit awkward, but not nearly as bad as I had feared... Probably because most of my friends had them at the same time.

I apparently have perfect teeth, but I've been thinking about getting one of those bite rails for sleeping, if that counts, because I get anxious and grinf my teeth, and get that thing where the inside of my cheeks constantly have little wounds.

I think I started off with that, but 'graduated' to regular braces (and headgear) not long after as they realised I was too severe a case, lol. They thought it would save time. It did not!

I surprisingly never did despite growing extra teeth (which were later removed)
But I did have all my baby teeth pulled out after they rotted because I used to sleep with the bottle in my mouth as a baby

braces a nightmare for me to remember
the dentis first needed to pull out 4 extra teeth to make space so they could attached the braces

hade the braces for 2 or 3 years the braces did grind against my cheek and cause deep wounds

the braces did grind so mutch against the left side so it nearly cause a hole right through my cheek

after 2 or 3 years it did fix my teeth and even though i only remember the taste of blood in my mouth the decision to have braces is one i never regret it was the right decision

Nah. My bottom teeth are the only ones that are messed up and you can't ever really see them.

Now I have almost all of my wisdom teeth in and they're shoving my teeth all around. Oopie.

Had them, but this was a very long time ago so I'm not sure if they still work the same way since then or have improved: when they say to wear your retainer, make sure you do. You can't even tell I ever had braces at this point.

Never had them myself but I dated a girl who had them.

Got them for a couple of years when I was an early teen. Feels so long ago that it almost feels as if I never had them

Glad I wore braces but hated wearing retainers. So painful

I was lucky and never had to have them, though I knew quite a few who did during middle and high school. I hope anyone here who has them gets them off as soon as possible

Never had braces in my life.
My teeth are shit, they don't receive DMs from others teeths.

You can do it! You're almost there ::coolstafy
I had braces very late into my high school years. Had to take out 4 teeth because I had a small jaw and then the braces absolutely proceeded to tear up my poor soft skin in my mouth. Felt like I had a completely new mouth when the braces were finally removed. Lived life after that dental problem free until all four of my wisdom teeth reared their ugly faces in.
