This is a kind of thing I used to do ages ago on a different forum, and it was really fun. I thought I'd try doing it here and see if people enjoy it. I hope that's fine.
Basically, I act as the DM (Dungeon Master) and the players sign up as characters. I present the players with a situation, and they decide how to handle it. Then I react to their choices and tell them how they went. When deciding the outcome of a player's action, I will roll 1d6 (a six-sided die) to determine the results.
1= Disastrous Failure
2 = Partial Failure
3 = Partial Success
4 = Success
5 = Great Success
6 = Outstanding Success
The setting is a world with magic and monsters. The player characters are bounty hunters who hunt down monsters and criminals for fun and profit. However, they live in a dangerous city and have a dangerous profession, so the mortality rate is high. If your character dies, you may sign up as a new one and wait for the next mission to start.
In order to sign up, fill out the following sheet:
Name:
Age:
Gender:
Race: Your character may belong to whatever fantasy race you want. This is merely cosmetic and doesn't impact the game.
Class: See the list below.
Bio: Just a very short summary of your character's background or personality. Who are they, and why did they become a bounty hunter? Are they in it for the money, the glory, or something else?
Starting Gear: You may start with two items from the list below.
Your character may have one of the following classes:

Starting Gear: You may start with two items from the list below.
Your character may have one of the following classes:
- Mage: These characters can use magic. You can use a powerful Fire, Ice, Lightning, or Poison spell. You can only use each spell once, though.
- Summoner: These characters can summon a spirit. Your spirit can explore and scout areas for you, but cannot fight. If destroyed, you'll have to spend time summoning another.
- Athlete: These characters are agile. They get +1 when rolling for actions related to agility, like jumping and climbing, as well as stealth.
- Bruiser: These characters are strong. They get +1 when rolling for actions related to strength, like lifting and pushing, as well as surviving damage.
- Rogue: These characters are wily. They get +1 when rolling for actions related to intimidation, seduction, and persuasion. They also get better loot.
- Expert: These characters are knowledgeable. They get +1 when rolling for actions related to puzzle-solving, trivia, and general knowledge. They can also find clues.
- Melee Weapon: A melee weapon of your choice, like a sword, axe, or spear. It can be used to attack up close.
- Ranged Weapon: A ranged weapon of your choice, like a bow or gun. It can be used to attack at range, but it can only fire 6 shots. You'll have to find more ammo to use it again.
- Shield: A shield or piece of body armor. It will automatically protect you from one deadly attack, and then break.
- Potion: A healing potion. You can use it to heal from any ailment or condition, once. You may use it on someone else, instead.
- Lockpick: It can be used to open (most) locked doors and chests.
- Bomb: Deals heavy damage to all targets, but can only be used once.
