Best written characters in manga?

What are some of the best written manga characters, in your opinion?

Not that it doesn't necessarily mean a good or badass person.

Some of my favorites are:

Matahachi (Vagabond): such a believable and realistic character. He's a pos, a flawed man through and through, but I'm sure you know at least one person in real life with similar traits.

Takahachi (Real): bitter, resentful and a jerk, but we can at least understand why he's like this.
Both above are characters by Takehiko Inoue and have similar names. I wonder if it's just a coincidence...

Honestly kenshiro from hokuto no ken comes to mind, say what you want about the series itself, but he's a well thought out character.

For a more modern one, frieren from frieren the slayer/frieren: beyond journey's end, for a story that essentially the good and bad of having to live with basically immortality, it's really well done how it shows the experience through her eyes.

Generally all 4 of the main cast of wotaku ni koi.

Kinda not fair as it's a comedy and not to be taken seriously, but kazuma satou from konosuba, basically a anime version of al bundy (if you don't know married with children, you really should).
