Boku no Natsuyasumi 2. It's such a calm & relaxing Summer game.

Came here to say this. The first one for PSX is also great.

I also have a lot of fun messing around with the SIMPLE Series games. Many require little to no knowledge of Japanese and they're all pretty wacky and fun for a quick play.

I found this on CDR shortly before we switched over here. Man I really enjoyed what time I've put in so far. If you like Fire Emblem you'll like this probably. English patch is available but it would've been great if we got this earlier on.

This series comes to mind. One of my very favorite games series every, but it's especially stellar on the PS2.

Off the top of my head, the PS2 port of Wipeout Pulse is technically correct but it's still on PSP in America. Phase Paradox, then. A weird survival horror sequel to an already weird PS1 spess shooter.

I... don't actually have anything new to add. Fuck. I'm just going to add my recommendation for Front Mission 5 and Berwick Saga. FM5 has problems, but it was a good way to end the series and has the best gameplay in the series. Berwick Saga is a neat evolution of Tear Ring Saga, which was, well, just a Fire Emblem game with a different coat of paint. x) Not a bad thing though.
