3DS Best 3ds Games EVER

Is no one seriously not gonna mention Smash Bros of 3DS? I would go with Fantasy Life & Yokai Blasters Red. I kick myself everytime for not knowing Return to PoPoLoCrois was on the damn system...
Smash 3DS is great. Its kinda a shame Brawl fanboys have tried their best to paint this game as "ThE woRsT SmasH game"

Smash Run is 10 times better than SSE.

Debatable, I'm one of those people who likes SubSpace Emissary but Smash Run is better.

I have gained access to it just recently, and i already love it!
So far, i have only played Rune Factory 4, and currently i'm in middle of Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney.
I enjoyed the both a lot! 😊

not necessarrily 3ds exclusive content, but i love mario kart DS. Also a fan of MK7 but Nintendo not adding Waluigi and my simple brain seeing tricks and going "wow, i am NOT good enough at games to utilize these" makes it less enjoyable than MKDS. Pokemon Pearl is also a great game imo (i love shinx and palkia, my fav pokemon).

Those are DS games.

also (adding into the waluigi not being added to mk7 thing)(yes waluigi is my fav character can you tell?) DUDE. you add waluigi to MKDS, you add it to MK8 which is two installments later but you forget to add him on MK7, and then make up a piece of lore to (probably) cover the fact that you forgot to add him like come on. justice for waluigi, make a game for him

Those are DS games.
hence the reason why i added "not necessarily 3ds games"

i remember the waluigi story thingy being smth like "oh yea he was battling a deadly illness" or smth idk i cant recall but yea, i honestly feel like its just covering up a mistake

talking about the story Nintendo made up for not adding Waluigi to MK7 btw, i'll try and find a link if i can to show proof

the 3ds possesses an absolutely bang job port of devil summoner soul hackers, it really is a swell way to play the game
it might be the only port of an older game to a newer system that i would recommend over the original game (i still prefer the original on saturn due to nostalgia, but i am not a crook)

It'd be a cryin shame not to have mentioned the Tales of the Abyss port, which although not as robust as its original ps2 counterpart, makes for an excellent handheld experience of one of if not the most beloved tales games

Fire Emblem Echoes is great, but its map design is...very bad. The maps are far too big much too often.
Dragon Quest VII is a great entry in the series, and my second favourite.
Etrian Odyssey Untold (NOT the terrible sequel) is a great game.
Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker has divine voice acting that improves an already great game.
Star Fox 64 3D is a better version of one of my favourite games. Yes, it's different than 64 in a number of subtle ways.
Honestly, I loved Pokémon S&M. Very good writing with Lillie. Ultra S&M jumped the shark, though.

And as was already said, Kirby: Planet Robopon and Fantasy Life are top tier.

Hands down the best 3DS game for me and outright one of the greatest jRPGs of all time:

There're only 4 games that made 3DS worthwhile:

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia
Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology
Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor: Overclocked
and
Stella Glow

My personal top ten 3DS games

1.) Fire Emblem Echoes (best fe imo)
2.) Fire Emblem Fates (not for everyone but has great customization to make every playthru unique with all the different builds you can do for every character)
3.) The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (best 2d zelda imo, I really love how open ended it is)
4.) Shantae and the Pirates Curse (excellent metroidvania with fun writing and funner abilities)
5.) Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity (best pokemon fight me, excellent story and characters, and I really like building up the paradise. I still return to it from time to time to go on random missions to work on the pokemon paradise)
6.) Fire Emblem Awakening (very fun to play and replay with different pairings)
7.) Metroid: Samus Returns (strong return to form for metroid series, after no good games since the prime trilogy compilation release in 2009)
8.) Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance (horribly imbalanced in players favor and the story is bad but flow motion and dream eaters are so fun to use)
9.) Bravely Default (major pacing issues but class system and brave/default mechanic make up for it)
10.) Mario and Luigi: Dream Team (good follow-up to original trilogy that evolves the mechanics in a great way BUT majorly held back by game breaking glitches in two late game boss fights, if not for that would be a lot higher on this list)

Honorable Mentions
Kirby Triple Deluxe (hypernova and moving between foreground and background (y))
Ocarina of Time 3D and Majora's Mask 3D (great ports, make lots of qol improvements to OGs)

Stuff That's Been said and is on my backlog
Bravely Second, Kirby Planet Robobot, Rune Factory 4, Kid Icarus Uprising, Puzzle and Dragons Z, Dragon Quest 7, Dragon Quest 8, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy

stuff that has been said that i MAJORLY disagree with
Mainline Pokemon Games - In my Opinion, Mainline Pokemon Peaked with BW2 and has been on the decline ever since
smt/persona - overly derivative of other games, painfully edgy, and more grindy than dragon quest, and while this probably wont matter for most of you all, but this is the most important reason to me: it espouses beliefs that are extremely against my religion

Why not both? I have both, though I had vita for a short while, and 3DS since it was a current console.
While vita was a powerhouse for it's time, 3DS after the rough start was a powerhouse in unique great games, so many when you try to think of them to a list you get overwhelmed and can't name any of them.

I use this post to add one from my long, 10+ year long backlog; Crimson Shroud. While this game from other people I mention it to say it is not really all-that, it is absolutely a unique experience 3DS hardware is used to enhance experience of. It is run-of-the-mill JRPG presented as a board game with somewhat of a digital warhammer presentation, enhanced by 3D, and you roll dice digitally on lower screen for the gameplay. While I have not played the game much myself, and other people say it is not, repeating, "all that" the concept alone is unique and something only 3DS could present in the way it can. Dunno about all of you but I can at least appreciate a game for being uniquely unique, though when the game is also great, that is something special, like Hotel Dusk and Cape West.
