Backstory behind your avatar?

First one I had was one of Red's sprites from a video recreation/retelling/the-guy-basically-rewrote-the-whole-thing of the "Pokémon Strangled Red" Creepypasta
Second one was a fanart of Ryu from Breath of Fire 3 I stole found on pixiv lmao

and the current one... I kinda wanted to use an actual photo of myself but didn't wanted to dox myself XD
so I asked an AI to make an image relatively similar to what I look like (yes I have long hair, yet my scarf isn't red but actually yellow lol) because I'm useless and don't know how to draw lmao
believe me, if I knew how to draw (or had someone who'd wanted to draw me,) I'd change it right away

My story is a bit complex but fun.
It all started back in 2008, i wanted to start posting on a famous for the time videogames forum in italy, i began with a generic avatar but after a very short while (like a week or 2) i discovered this:

A user on the forum made it but for some reason something clicked with me and i started editing it:

Initially it was small edits that i used to joke around the forum and to create very custom jokes for specific threads, it worked so well i kinda became one of those famous users that made things funnier and i created a ton of new emotes:

And around 200 more, then i also used the blue face to create an avatar to stream games on twitch too, you can check it through the link my profile.

My first intro to retro games was old school 90s shooters and dark forces is some real kino, was a debate between just having comic Doomguy or having the security guard from Marathon, but the storm trooper just looks so stylish bitcrusded. Also can use the zombie version for halloweens

Scum of Orion is based off the title of a pulp scifi novlette I'm writing, title is based off "Degenerate star, arm of Orion" from Blue Oyster Cult's Heavy Metal Black and Silver, Orion is also my favorite constellation

My 1st was Zero from Mega Man Zero, but I didn't post anything at the time.

My 2nd was quakeguy/ranger.
I was playing a lot of Quake and Battle Realms at the time.

The 3rd was a cropped image of the pinball sprite from Crue Ball on Mega Drive.

Now it's just my oc redone using AI and retouched in photoshop.
