Movies Awesome movies ruined by the ending

Snowpiecer.

I simply choose to believe the scene inserted after the train crash implying there were survivors was forced in there by producers the themes make much more sense when everyone dies

The original ending to Army of Darkness. I mean sure, I get the whole idea would've been to do a sequel where Ash fought the Deadites in the future, but... I don't know, it just feels a bit too mean spirited given the events of Evil Dead 1, 2 and that movie.

Thankfully they did a better ending which sent him back to normal times and led into Ash Vs Evil Dead.

Also, just because it's a take a like; Terminator 2. The Director's Cut ending is far superior because it caps off Skynet, Judgement Day and all that, giving Sarah and John the ending they deserved and made Dyson's sacrifice actually mean something. The original ending ruins T2 because sequels can exist, which in turn ruin it.

The ending reminded me so something. But I cannot recall the film or TV episode of whatever it was. The character I really felt bad for was the lady looking for her kid. I think she should have been the main character and not "Mr. Generic Action Dude".

Oh I'm certain the entire thing underwent a ton of changes from the original script like this! The director is on record saying he told Harvey Wienstein, the producer, to not change something "because my dead father wanted it to be like that" in a desperate attempt to get him to stop changing things on set last minute. It worked, also his dad is alive and fine lmao

I tend to only remember the movies that really shook me or moved me deeply, so honestly, none of their endings ever disappointed me. If a movie is good, its ending is good too — and the other way around.
