Guinea, now apparently known as @Rufus Shinra, true to his new username, is a lier and a coward, and I am hereby publicly calling him out..

30 days ago I received a message from him:

“You've been put on Reader Mode for 30 days for violating rules 1, 2, 3 and 4 multiple times. I suggest you read the rules again and follow them if and when you return.”

He then locked the message. Unable to respond, and unable to appeal. No warnings, just straight to the shadow realm. “Go directly to jail. Do not pass go. Do not collect 200 dollars.” Correct me if I’m wrong, but this appears to be in blatant disregard of the “Warning system: “3 strikes policy” that states:

• In cases of blatant disregard for the rules the staff may issue 1 warning point.

First & foremost, to claim that I violated FOUR different rules “MULTIPLE times” is as objectively a lie as you can get, and I demand an objective accounting for it..

I foresaw this new mod’s abuse of power several days before, and publicly called it out. (Source 1, Source 2) And sure enough, true to my lifelong “Cassandra Complex,” I was ignored before eventually being proven 100% correct. If he had the authority to do-so, I am certain he would have preferred to just perma-banned me outright like the intellectual coward that he is (in sharp contrast to this)

But let’s take an objective look at the rules that I had allegedly broke, one by one:

1. Be respectful of other people and their opinions.

There is an element of truth to this one, as I’m pretty sure this is over me calling the user Ikagua a “stupid midwit” several times, but I will go more in-depth on my rational later in section-3..

I’ll concede the point here, however, this is by far the most inconsistently applied rule of the entire list. It is difficult to express how many times I have stated an opinion, whether it be benign, heterodox, or otherwise– and the response to it by certain individuals couldn’t be described as anything else except utter contempt and/or hatred. People with the seeming inability to contend with my position(s) and therefore default to purely emotional Ad Hominem, Straw Man, and/or “uM aCtUaLly” Red Herrings. Case in point we’ll take Tonberry’s response to my final post before my suspension is all three:

Every single thread you enter you just hurl around insane accusations and sweeping statements and the second you get the tiniest amount of challenged you resort to unhinged rants and insults, adding nothing.

I find this rich coming from the same person who randomly decided to derail an entire discussion about the Halo remake to *effectively* call me a Nazi sympathizer, instead of engaging in any part of the logical argument that I had presented to someone else who was, like several others, trying to tone-police anything shy of “Don’t ask questions. Just consume product, and the get excited for next product” (said benign argument). The long exchange was eventually deleted, and rightfully so, but did he get shotgun-blasted with multiple strikes for violating rules 1, 2, & 4 “multiple times” with his long, repeated, and libelist emotional diatribes? But in my personal opinion, in addition to standard ideological indoctrination, he’s may also be committing psychological projection…

But I digress…

2. Do not harass Users, or encourage others to do so, as this will result in an automatic warning.

This one is the most straightforward to disprove..
I’ll take “He just made it the fuck up” for 500, Alec… because I did no such thing. In fact, I “encouraged” the exact opposite. (Source)

I demand to know how I violated this rule you lier!

3. Do not discriminate or attempt to demean anyone on the basis of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage/civil partnership, pregnancy, race, religious beliefs, sex and sexual orientation.
Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and religious bigotry of any kind will not be tolerated.
This includes in usernames, avatars and signatures.

Once again, I have NEVER done anything of the sort. I’m sure the the mod in question would (again) reference the fact that I called Ikagua a “stupid midwit” multiple times, however, if the mod did even a cursory of the term he would realize that it has NOTHING to do with any sort of disability, either real or imagined. Quite the opposite, because they have everything to do with this individual’s ACTIONS.

Firstly, to call someone “stupid” is NOT the same as calling someone, for example, “r*****ed.” To illustrate what I mean, virtually any & all 1st-generation billionaires (who didn’t acquire their wealth through divorce), regardless of your own personal opinion(s) of them, is invariably going to be an extremely intelligent individual (typically >+2~3 sd IQ). However, every single one of the very publicly-facing billionaires have done a non-zero number of things that we all (or at least most of us) can agree qualify as being extremely “stupid.” Would this be “demean[ing]” them based on any of the above-listed “protected characteristics?!” I thought not..

Second, and more importantly, the newer term “midwit” (as opposed to a “dimwit”) refers to someone of relatively average, to slightly above average, intelligence (+/- 1 sd IQ) who unironically purports themselves as to being significantly smarter than they actually are, usually while proclaiming what they would believe as the “correct opinions”/dogma to have (aka “virtue signaling”). There is a very high overlap between a “midwit” and a “pseudo-intellectual” (BTW, Educated ≠ Intelligent). And contrary to what Ikagua kept insisting, it isn’t “just a 4chan buzzword.” Just in case reading comprehension isn’t his/your strong suit; I’ll end this section with a short video that very concisely describes the EXACT kind behavior that I was criticizing throughout our exchanges:

This particular YouTuber has several other videos describing the phenomenon of midwittery as well, and I’m willing to bet that none of you who disagree can directly refute anything that he is saying in the above video, but will instead resort to fallacious personal attacks (aka Ad Hominems), Straw Man, and Red Herrings..

4. No politics. Avoid referencing political figures, parties, movements and systems of governance, regardless of intent. This extends to posting about ongoing global conflicts.

This is the other inconsistently enforced forum rule. I’d argue that many users on this forum have been living in an ideological bubble/echo-chamber for so long that they very well may not even realize that they are casually making overt political statements on a rather frequent basis. I’m not going to bother pedantically scraping through the forum for users to “throw under the bus,” but for a simple example: any mention of specifically “LGBTQ+” subjects are explicit political statements per se. Yes, it’s true. It has just been part of the secular-religion that has been ruthlessly enforced as a cancerous social media “faux pas” (ie. blasphemous) to ever say absolutely anything to the contrary for the past 10~15 years..

But back to my alleged sin(s). This is more-than-likely because I mentioned the dreaded “GamerGate” in a way that wasn’t strictly in-line with the pre-approved “correct opinions”/dogma. Why? Because in the past 2 or 3 times I interacted with Ikagua, and thoroughly destroyed his annoying “uM, aCtUaLlY” pedantry, he would invariably say something to the effect of “bro, this is a video game forum.” And since we were in a thread literally titled “Cheating on a partner,” I decided to bookend the subject that was both on-topic with the particular thread AND video game related..

In conclusion, I could imagine getting hit with one strike, maybe two at the absolute most. That way I would have at least had the ability to appeal the decision of the new mod who’s still “wet behind the ears.” But no, the person who begged to become a mod did-so for the sake ideologically purging the forum of the only kind of diversity that actually matters: Diversity of Thought. As it is also worth noting that there was a number of users who actively enjoyed my points of view..

I still can’t even post in ‘General Discussion’ or vote in any polls either, do I have to wait yet another two weeks to get back those privileges too? That is, assuming I don’t get immediately get nuked back off of the site again..

There was no "in-fighting." I called people 'nerds'... in a retro gaming forum... clearly a situation of "the pot calling the kettle black."
I said some WAYYY more intense stuff in the Dragon Quest thread yesterday, and the mod there just came in and basically said 'hey, stay on topic"..

(I didn't have to search for it, it was your Source 2 link) And since you want to know so badly why I said you broke Rule 2 multiple times (harrassing other users) just click on the source links you provided and read the things you've said.

So, taking all that into account (the multiple verbal warnings and the multiple times you broke the rules) I deemed you a troublemaker (you are) who's had one too many slaps on the wrist (you have) and needed a real punishment (you did)

And that's all I gotta say on that! If you want to continue this, do it via DM.
