Do you prefer EEnE in italian or english?
I have a soft spot for the swedish dub since I grew up on it obviously, and I even found the english voices to be kind of jarring since many of them aren't as deep as in swedish. Particularly Ed.

Ed, Rolf and Jimmy are pretty much the only boys that sound the same

I always assumed because he kind of looked Indian lol, I thought he was Indian my entire life until I learned as an adult that he was supposed to be like Europe The Character. They also changed his name to Reinar in a few episodes. Maybe his stereotype was too Scandinavian for the localizers.

They did change his name to Ralf for some reason

I never thought he was from the north, I always thought he was eastern or swiss


Btw I never figured out as a child Jake long from american dragon and trixie tang from fairly oddparents were chinese

@Lee__Kanker Buttercup is my favorite of the bunch too, for the same reasons you mentioned!

I didin't had too much contact with KND but number 5's coolness is definitely attention grabbing.

Not much a Pokemon guy beyond the first gen, but your description about Sapphire makes me want to read the comic.

Its what I imagined pokemon battles to be like as a kid, I hated how the show was made for 3 year olds

Also the villains Actually try to kill the kids and the comic takes pokedex descriptions into account

Hey, Lee! I’d love to know: What’s your “perfect” game that hasn’t been made, yet? I.E. what’s something you’d love to see in a game that hasn’t been done, before?

Hmmm there are plenty of follow ups to existing games I'd like, but something I've never had before...

A dark fantasy combo action game in the vein of devil may cry 1 thats set in Metera or Naples as places like it and that has an emphasis on exploration and atmosphere alongside the combat

Ps1\2 jp developers really liked setting fantasy horror games in western europe and so did I, but sadly that's a trend of the past

Also a Mickey X game that plays like a more complex Oogie's Revenge

A samurai jack game that's given the same budget and talent as something like Bayonetta (it hopefully has a horror level comparable to the haunted house episode)

I spend some of my childhood weeks in a remote house in the countryside in 2004-6, Idk about america but most people didnt have the internet here until like 2009\10

There is something so oppressive and creepy about that complete silence and all the nearby farmlands and plains full of junk and the occasional sound of distant animals.; one long road streching over the horizon until you can no longer see it

This was all during the day, this feeling of "you could venture anywhere if you want to, no one is stopping you, you could come across anything and if you died no one will ever know.
The night is actually when things got less creepy because the nearby pizzeria and bars wouldget costumers always had parties and people coming in

The day can be really creepy as shown in Texas Chainsaw Massacre (and the nazi zombies map Verruckt actually) but sadly few games do it

Silent Hill 5 was probably gonna experiment with daytime horror, I read it in an interview, if the series wasnt handed to yanks and team silent wasnt shut down I might've gotten what I wanted; Ito-san even started making concept art for it at the time
I'd want a....a horror adventure game that's set in a vast wasteland, at night, it can be during the day too but it must feel mostly empty and desolate, and the only buildings are blocky and white or greyish; whatever is inside em or if theres people or living things I don't know, maybe. The danger would come from the enviroment itself and if there's living hostile thiings they have to be rare and maybe confined to their own enviroment
Spoilsbury Toast Boy by David Firth comes pretty close to it, only mine would still be buildings

This idea came from the mental image I had as a 7 year old when I visited a rehab center at an hotel that was built by scientology. All the men would go in this classroom that had almost no walls and had and was all white and light grey, with colorful markers and plain looking notebooks; must've been some new age shit

In reality the hotel wasn't desolate at all, it had a pool and nice rooms, children brains just work strangely

Good question hmmm

I hate reboots, but Jumanji welcome to the jungle was pretty nice, it was a fun videogame-themed movie and american made to boot; the scene when the Rock and that hot chick have to act like awkward young teens and pretend they dont know how to kiss was funny

I never liked those love songs that always play on the radio and everyone but me is into, but I ended up really liking Alex Baroni

I really dont care for cgi animated movies, but I Love Toy Story 1&2, The Incredibiles, Shrek 1&2, and Kung Fu Panda 1-3

I also dislike photorealistic games, but I Really liked Biohazard 7. In that game it actually enhances it, it evokes the feeling being forced into a disgusting enviroments in Excellent way

Every scene makes you cringe, especially everything involving Hands or sticking them somwhere. Also its one of the few games in recent memory that actually USED the fact its in 1st person, all the ammo and the secrets Really requiere you to look in between every nook and cranny

Also it has a clever way of making 1st person hard to control kinda like tank controls which I really dig

And it had F A N T A S T I C dlc, End of Zoe and Not A Hero covered every single greavance I had with the game

Only problem was those damn unskippable demos*

I'll go with the boring answer

The fact it's a 70's movie and the first one miyazaki directed is jaw dropping

To quote James Rolfe: I'm bowing down and my balls are clapping, hail to the king

The way they lovingly capture italy too is just amazing, even if they commited the sin of acting like spaghetti and meatballs are an ita dish. But I'll forgive it just because its the best animated spaghetti ever put to film and I highly relate to chugging the giant wine bottle

Dead or Alive is pretty sick too
