Do you prefer EEnE in italian or english?
I have a soft spot for the swedish dub since I grew up on it obviously, and I even found the english voices to be kind of jarring since many of them aren't as deep as in swedish. Particularly Ed.
I tried looking up a clip with the Kankers but couldn't find any :(

Thats the problem I have with the ita dub actually, they sound more like teenagers than kids, especially Kevin
Ed, Rolf and Jimmy are pretty much the only boys that sound the same

Many other ita dubs like the simpsons do the same for some weird reason

Also lee didnt have the deep crass voice she's supposed to have until the school seasons

I always assumed because he kind of looked Indian lol, I thought he was Indian my entire life until I learned as an adult that he was supposed to be like Europe The Character. They also changed his name to Reinar in a few episodes. Maybe his stereotype was too Scandinavian for the localizers.

They did change his name to Ralf for some reason

I never thought he was from the north, I always thought he was eastern or swiss


Btw I never figured out as a child Jake long from american dragon and trixie tang from fairly oddparents were chinese

@Lee__Kanker Buttercup is my favorite of the bunch too, for the same reasons you mentioned!

I didin't had too much contact with KND but number 5's coolness is definitely attention grabbing.

Not much a Pokemon guy beyond the first gen, but your description about Sapphire makes me want to read the comic.

Also Sakura rules.

You should definely check it out, just google 'pokemon special scans'
Its what I imagined pokemon battles to be like as a kid, I hated how the show was made for 3 year olds

Also the villains Actually try to kill the kids and the comic takes pokedex descriptions into account
