I would like to share with you my interest in Art Nouveau, and in particular in two illustrators/painters of this artistic current, which in turn inspired many Japanese illustrators we know. These are the Czechoslovakian Alfons Mucha and the Frenchman L.M. Boutet de Monvel, who had moreover devised enchanting illustrations for La Fontaine's well-known fables and for a collection of French folk songs intended for children.
I originally wanted to share these images in this thread by friend @NobodyHere [https://retrogametalk.com/threads/official-art.5066/] but compared to the images posted by you, they seemed perhaps a bit off-topic.
I attach to this post some images I scanned from the two collections I mentioned illustrated by Boutet de Monvel.
I am curious to know what you think!
