Here, some more.
This is more about being accurate.
Lot of examples and even an important test (last image).

Ok... This is heavy stuff.

From someone who did this...
There is an urban legend involved...

Can you guess from which series could be?
Don't worry, I'll tell to you later what could be...
Ok...

I'm free now, however, need to rest a little (thanks to another errand).

The involved urban legend,
is nothing and nothing less than...

.Hack// (Original Tetralogy for PS2)

"Bloody Aura's Dream Incident"

However, this is particular and rare case, this design, because... Aura is not portrayed in this image.
This is an unknown woman,
less reported than the 'bloodstained' AI.

Post/Extra: Merged. Not again Dx"

I think there was already a miscellaneous art thread. We could get all of it merged into one.

Practicing this stuff is kinda tedious, but Lord does it pay off.

Gotta start at the beginning before one can draw all the sexy waifus.

So these are completed character design pieces for one of my characters. Below are the older versions before taking time to practice more and with CSP Pro. I understand anatomy to a good degree, but still in stage of keeping in mind that form at times can come before for posing and in-action. It takes longer for sure, but mainly for comms, finals and portfolio.

These were done in SAI 2. It's what I typically start my line work in, base color at times and finish with CSP.

Same ;) And thank you

Just so people know, I'm likely older than most if not all of you haha! I've been drawing since a kid and almost 40, despite slow aging. I grasped things a bit later than others, but eventually got there.

Any advice for another almost 40er trying to do learn art at as close to professional level as possible? I also used to draw a lot as a kid but stopped practicing after college.
