Art dumping

I've had renewed interest in mechanical pencils and bought some new ones in the past couple of weeks. That also made me dig up some of my old tools/materials, and I found some sketches from way back in 2015:

The Pilot pencil in the photo is what I used for these sketches, so I've had it for at least a decade now!

And here are the finished versions:

Also, I'm still working on drawing my OCs as Alice in Wonderland characters. Next up is the Queen of Hearts, again!

Thank you!, if someone recognized the character I'm drawing then this means I'm doing something right. This is a part of an experiment of conducting where I take the concept of the 250 box challenge and flip it on its head by applying it to one character seeing if I memorize it by heart or not in the end, and this also doubles as a practice for heads and faces so it's a win-win for me ::yay

Im glad it helps a lot. I have a big keen on memorization so it helps in the drawing process

Oh is that a LCD drawing pad? Cuz I have one of those too
Yes I love drawing on it because it strangely makes me more calm to draw since I know that the line I'm drawing will not be erased since there is no other option to erase aside from erasing the whole screen via one big button in the bottom + I personally think the black background and green lines not only look cool, but aren't uh... straining to the eyes as opposed to a white background

I made a thread showing some I made!

I guess I'll post something of mine too:

Mint and Arche from Tales of Phantasia. Was sitting on the lineart for these two for a while, only just recently finished coloring and shading. I had hoped to finish this up soon after the Cross Edition patch dropped; it is what it is.

I think my biggest problem is I don't know how to be consistent with my head shapes either that or the hair is what really changes the impression of it. I really don't know I will keep on going I guess

I love this so much! the shapes are very clear, and the white outline creates some fun negative shapes

That lineart looks really clean, and the soft colors are well-balanced and blend nicely!

A drawing I actually took the time to color and a handful of sketches I've posted on Instagram,

Most of these were sketched at work, though I later painted the first at home, next up are fan arts

Yasushi Nirasawa's "Phancure"

And a sketch of Akira and Ryo from "Devilman". Akira is repping my favorite band "Sigh" as well

I've been drawing since I was little and it had always been The Lion King since it's my favorite movie. And now, I can proudly display this, as it is my best work, as close as to the movie as I could ever get.
