Very nice gesture and shading practice, When I do shading practive, i draw a lightbulb in the middle of the paper and draw faces, bodies, objects circling it to get a better perspective on how light hits things.

Your gestures are really nice, solid foundation and I can tell your brain is having an easier time memorizing from the images you use. Especially not using any solid foundation on them like shapes.

Grinding today. Trying to improve my figures. Think I’m going to practice hands and faces next.
Based Strategist, your skills have improved a lot since the last time I saw you. Those classes are doing wonders keeping you calm and relax in the more wackier poses, figure skating is the best way to get good in gesture drawing.

the power of imagination is incredible isn't?
Anybody with a big nose automatically gets me thinking "Oh its Patches" lol.

Before I forget; the context is that a forum I've been frequenting is going zzz. Abandon ship!

Love the color its really nice and blends really well. I req on trying using deeper colors to make it stand out more, but these are great for a chibi character.

I've been frustrated lately about not progressing as much in drawing as I'd like to the point almost quit, so I made this as a personal reminder.
Drawing shouldn't be a race, take your time and appreciate the form. Your doodles are fantastic and you improve with each one, even if you arent aware. Push yourself into new mediums and youll improve faster.

Its not a race, its a marathon. And it takes a lot of practice for most of us. My frustration is that I started so old, I'm punching myself for not starting sooner. Especially since I loved drawing as a kid. But I got frustrated with not making as much progress as some of my friends who were so talented. Now I regret quitting drawing when I was a teen.

Having said that, when I was a kid there was no Youtube or Draw A Box, so I'm not sure I would've progressed as easily without these resources. So maybe it would've played out the same.

Really cool expressions, you really captured every single character in these panels. This is some crazy work! ::nyamcoawards
Is this done all in a pixel pen?
