Arcade games that had no home port but should have

And that spanish game with the goku inspired character in a edgy cyberpunk universe that feels like a classic genesis game.

Correct me if i'm wrong but it could got a port on PSX (Censoring be damned due to fighting LITERAL SATAN) considering Taito made wonders with Ninja Warriors on SNES what they could pull would be great

You mean this one?

I'm late to mention my top choices (good to see many of us think alike, though). Likewise, in the process of checking up on some of the others, I found out they had already been ported.

That said, I would like to have Muchi Muchi Pork! and Otomedius on more than just the Xbox 360, as I'm mostly uninterested in that console.

Oof there are tons, though the Hamster / ACA NEO GEO / Arcade Archives series are doing God's work.

Personally I'm still mad that many of SEGA's golden-age arcade games, like Spike Out, Planet Harriers, Daytona USA 2, and SCUD Race, haven't been ported, outside of the in-game arcades in Like a Dragon games.

It's also a shame that some utterly unique games like Boogie Wings, Lucky & Wild, The Cliffhanger: Edward Randy, and The Outfoxies haven't been ported.

-The Simpsons and X-Men
It Acclaim/LJN snagged the console licenses, Konami would use the Turtles IV engine and make both the games be really good on SNES and Genesis.

-Ninja Baseball Batmen
Surprised Irem never ported their arcade games into a collection for the PS1/Saturn. It could work.

-Bucky O'Hare
We got a versions on NES and a Konami handheld port, what about SNES/Genesis, TurbografxCD/Playstation/Saturn port of the arcade?

Battletoads arcade
It could be on N64 called Battletoads: The Arcade Game, but Nintendo might have to tell Rare to tone down the blood and difficulty and Rare may have to ask Tradewest for the publishing license.

Wild West Cowboys of Moo Mesa
Shame this did not get a SNES/Genesis port during its popularity. It may get a downgrade like the SNES port of Sunset Riders due to the limitation of the graphics, but will still play the same.

How was this not on the Dreamcast?
Look up any of Game Sack's "Left in the Arcade" episodes and you'll find plenty of arcade games with no home port.

Anyway, *clears throat*...Star Wars Trilogy Arcade

That game looks great. Reminds me of Chase H.Q. but lightgun based.
It's basically what it is. One player drives, the other shoots. The cabinet had full driving controls on one side and a lightgun on the other. I imagine a console port would be non trivial as you'd need to use a controller or wheel plus a Guncon or something similar for the full experience.

Lucky & Wild is so good but I always have trouble running it on MAME.
I bet mapping the controls would be a nightmare.

motor raid because imagine if that was on the sega saturn it could've been either a japanese exclusive or released in both japan and in america

Manx TT superbike and original sega rally championship both got ported to sega saturn but i've got to wonder what would happen if motor raid got officially released on saturn and pc

It's more on the recent side but this game is just everything i want in a racing game, i love initial D, from the hype eurobeat soundtrack to the high adrenaline downhill races, for me it's Initial D arcade stage 8

I saw this strange beast at the local arcade many years ago but it was out of order at the time and so I never got to try it before I moved. I dunno how you would convert the levers for homeuse, but I'm sure they could find a way.

Initial D is fire! They made a live action movie too! Also, speaking of vehicular drifting, on YouTube someone made a mod of a game with train drifting xD

Motor Raid got semi-ported, with the judgement games, just hop into the arcade, pop some 100 yen coins in and you can now play Motor Raid at home.
But yeah, a PC and Saturn port would have been great.

As for my pick, well, do I even have to say it?
