Arcade games that had no home port but should have

My vote goes to this one it should’ve been ported to Saturn or PS1
Waku Waku 7
I saw this one before (long ago, before I knew that you could search by images) without knowing what it was and I honestly searched for it like "ps1 2d fighting games" or something. Never found it, till last year lmao.

Golden Axe Revenge of Death Adder is my favourite Golden axe game and should've gotten a home port.
The third Rastan game is another great one. Dead connection is a fun shoot'em up with film noir influences.

I see a pattern in your taste.

There is a Shump called Chaos Heat that could be at least a cult game in PSX or Saturn, sadly only got a PSX reimagination that can be described as TEMU Resident Evil

Also Red Earth, a quasi-RPG fighter game from capcom, considering how erll it would fit in a console they qwasted a chance to port it, especially since the game is oscure yet the witch character has appeared in more Capcom Crossovers

GunForce II (aaka Geo Storm in Japan aka Metal Slug 0 by Irem and SNK fans)

Made by the team that would, two years later, produce Metal Slug.

I genuinely liked Chaos Break but I do agree, they should've ported it.

So many shmups and bullet hells. It took until last year for most of the Toaplan games to to finally get ported! Many CAVE games still don't have PC versions, and some don't even have console ports or are stuck two generations ago.

Dungeons & Dragons

Didnt it get ported to the saturn in japan?

I've had the pleasure of playing the cabinet in person with 3 other people, to think so many pople dont even know it exists! When you say "golden axe 2" most just think of the mediocre megadrive follow ups

Also not enough games let you play as a centaur

Perhaps a little late but Capcom released it as part of their beat'em up collection a couple years back.

Personally Im not counting recent commercial emulators cause the punisher DID get one

how I woulve loved to have it on ps1...

Beat'm all :
- Armored Warriors/Powered Gears - Strategic Variant Armor Equipment
- Warriors of Fate/Tenchi o Kurau 2
Action/Run & Gun :
- Mystic Warriors
Shmup :
- R - Type Leo
- Thunder Cross 1&2
- FixEight
- Varth - Operation Thunderstorm
The capcom beat'em up collection also had armored warriors and warriors of fate. Its a pretty good collection. Mystic warriors is awesome, even prefer it over Sunset riders.

Sailor Moon. There were 2 Sailor Moon beat em ups on console but those were made by different devs and made before the arcade version. Its a straight forward game but I enjoyed it. Good art and you even get little animations for supers.

Gaiapolis, a game that plays more like a action rpg than a arcade game, even has a password feature.
One of my favorite arcade games atm.
