Anything New You're Looking Forward To?

The PC port of Death Stranding 2 and Donkey Kong Bananza (hopefully the Switch 2 gets cracked as fast as the Switch did). I might be interested in Resident Evil Requ- excuse me, Re9uiem, when they show gameplay but right now I'm indifferent.

Tentatively looking forward to the remake of Trails in the Sky. I dislike how they've added real time combat because I wanted them to focus on making the turn-based combat less of a chore than it was. However, I'll still play it unless the price is unreasonable or it has Denuvo.

I'm looking forward to giving the new Kirby air riders a try when it gets released.
I am really curious about what to see in that newer entry.

Especially when it's Sakurai out of all guys behind it.

My only worry is that he'd ignore Kumazaki's stuff.

The game I'm now most excited to play is Lost Soul Aside, which releases at the end of this month.
I had barely started University when this game was first announced (nine friggin' years ago!!), and now it's finally here.
The game looks like a cross between Devil May Cry and what I had hoped Final Fantasy Versus XIII was gonna be.

Similiarly, I'm eager to playing Black Myth: Wukong, which from all accounts is excellent, and is already available.

I did play Sekrio: Shadows Die Twice somewhat recently though, so I'm not in such a rush to play this one.

Metaphor: Refantazio from the creators of SMT: Persona, has gotten tonnes of "Game of the Year" awards and generally glowing reviews across the board, so that's another on the radar.

Undertale is one of my favourite games, and what I've played of Deltarune has been stellar as well. I'm excited to play chapters 3 & 4 now that they're out.

Other games I'm excited to play are: Tides of Annihilation, Demonschool, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Logic Bombs, 10 Dead Doves, Hi-Fi Rush, Baldur's Gate 3, Elation for the Wonderbox 6000, Parliament of Hell 1796, Hibernaculum, Hollowbody, Kentucky Route Zero, Hell is Us and Saros.

How's 'bout you?

Heartworm looks super cool, and I never heard of it before it released. From the trailers, it seems like it really nails that PS1 aesthetic and the Silent Hill and Resident Evil vibes. I'm really looking forward to give it a try!

No, I'm not human is also pretty interesting. I really enjoy the creepy vibes and the uncertainty of who you can trust. The art is cool too in how uncanny it looks.

Oh I'm right with on Lost Soul Aside - I still remember the original announcement trailers from way back when it was still a solo project. Definitely excited for that one.

Another one that's fairly similiar in a lot ways that I'm excited for is Phantom Blade Zero, especially since the newest gameplay trailer. Some amazing stuff in there - love this growing Wuxia influence in action games.

With that said though, to my great shame the game I'm most excited for is actually something I wish we got way less of - a remaster. Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles.
I must have played through the original and the War of the Lions versions dozens of times by now, but somehow I am still excited to have cause to dive into yet another version of this game.
It's definitely nostalgia to a large degree, but I can't help myself, I am weak.

(There's also Silent Hill f, but I don't trust Konami enough to get excited about anything that involves them anymore)

Oh and as for recently released games - I've been chipping away at Wuchang: Fallen Feathers for a bit now and as someone lucky enough to have had no tech issues with that game, it really is a stellar non-FromSoft Soulslike.
It has a really inconsistent difficulty curve and could use a couple more basic enemy variations (as seems to be the cast for most games in this genre), but I'm really enjoying it so far!

Wasn't interested in a new game since Witcher 3... something ended but something else never began!!!! lol

But there are games I'm not "interested" but I think they may turn into something "interesting" or not. Time will tell. For example:

People may be familiar with the series from PS2, they seem to keep the spirit but wanna develop a new game on PC. We'll see if the game will be even playable or not. IDK if they will significantly release a better game than the PS2 games.

They seem to aim to make the game good old "arcade" fun of stylish gameplay to make the game differentiated from generic rubbish games video game industry suffers from especially since 2016 despite these gameplay elements are "inspirations" taken from here and there. It seems more like Craftopia but looks better + more stylish stuff to do. However it's developed by some awful random MMO games' developer so my expectation doesn't exist for this game.

1st game was "randomly and luckily" was good by Bandai Namco standards which is a rare thing, but they tend to release empty games when they believe people will buy their rubbish no matter what. Clearly they wouldn't wanna release this game if 1st game wasn't liked so they wanna milk the cow. Either it will be good as the 1st game or will be one of the most rubbish games ever existed among other rubbish that most Bandai Namco games belong into lol.

As time flows I wait for this game less due to the developers have no idea what to do about the game so they keep changing it a lot.

Other than these honestly there is no game I even care to wait for whatsoever.
