Anime Any Thoughts on the 24th Episode of Onegai My Melody

To me,It's the Worst Episode in the entire show,because has too much adult jokes,IN A KIDS ANIME,such as the Infamous Sexy Tennis Player

If you want too let your kids watch Onegai My Melody,skip this episode at all cost!!!!!!!

They put adult jokes in kids cartoons because generally parents watch them together with their kids. The kids won't understand it, but parents will. Kids don't have the malice we have, so there's no harm in it

I will say this like any other time someone gets triggered over oversea content: This anime was made by and for Japanese people. Is reasonable that you are angry for the content of that episode since you bear different cultural beliefs than those who wrote, animated and aired the episode.

Again, This was mane in Japan. You have the right to stand with your beliefs but there's no point in making a storm over a cup (and the episode was aided decades ago. The cultural view of the japanese might had changed since then).

Is it any worse than the Giant Enemy Crab being eaten in the final episode?
Have a strawberry crepe, or a melon soda (メロンクリームソーダ) and relax. This is a show for adolescent Japanese girls. Many of the issues that appear in this episode, aside from the adult jokes, are things that would be of supposed interest to them at that age. However if the abject horror of this episode presses too close, one can always retreat into the relative peace and safety of an episode of Moomin.

First of all,Onegai My Melody is an Anime. Second of all,Kids shows are suppost to be a fanservice free zone.Plus the show was even dubbed in European Spainish and they used the word "T!tties" uncensored,keep in mind that The show might of aired in kids networks in Spain

It's about as much of a kids' anime as Sailor Moon or Pretty Cure. I would classify it as shoujo and leave it at that. Anime, particularly titles from the 2000s, weren't really classified as 'for kids' or 'for adults'. Lots of anime have mascot characters, but that doesn't put them in a particular age bracket.
Also, I used to watch stuff like Ranma 1/2 and Shin-Chan on german daytime television back in the late 90s, and when it came to adult jokes they didn't really care. In the case of Ranma 1/2 they didn't just say 'titties' but they showed titties too.
It was a different time and I had zero complaints. I probably have some vhs tapes with tv recordings from that time in a box somewhere, but it'll be too much trouble to dig them up...
