So I've been messing around with linux and i'm just annoyed with endeavoros's extremely sensitive desire for me to use a password for literally everything, especially since it won't auto-mount my drives, so i'm gonna try another gaming based distro, anyone got any suggestions as i try to find my preferred distro?
Thought about trying garuda since i'd like having access to the AUR, but i'm willing to try any distro.
Easy to use would be nice if possible, i can get stuff to work but spending a day fixing one problem because the fix is convoluted for me isn't fun.
Most controllers work out of the box, NVME has been supported since forever, HDR isn't unique to RTX but hdr is available in at least kde desktop environment, though it's still in the beta stage.
As for the partition thing, i'd suggest against it, windows likes to break the linux install (this isn't linux's fault, it's windows), if you want to try linux take my advice and get a cheap ssd, if you don't like linux you can always use the drive for extra game and program installs, but more importantly it will save you a ton of headaches that windows could cause.
