The UI is super dated and the movement/combat is janky, but I had a great time playing it. It's clearly made for the book enjoyers, the music and atmosphere is really good, the cosmetics are pretty and the emotes are cool.
I only have time for one MMO tho so I stopped playing it
I love it.
Once or twice I get super into it for a few months, and since it's such a big slow-burn game it feels gret to jump into occasionally.
Farthest I've gotten is Dunland, on my Dwarf Champion.
I used to play pretty religiously, but I fell off the game in the past few years.
It's a fun time if you're into Tolkien's universe and the deep lore, but it's also completely mind-numbing. For me, it was a way to unwind with a podcast or audiobook or something while not having to think or stress too hard, but I also felt like I was sort of wasting my time by the end of my time with the game.
